I am from South Carolina. Been a big Raiders fan for the last 30 years. Denzel is from Gaffney, South Carolina which is about 20 minutes from me. Back in 2018, his brother was killed in a drive-by shooting. The guy that did it was just sentenced about eight months ago. This is what he’s been dealing with for the last few years. He has other family and probably wants to make sure that they don’t encounter the same fate. Best of luck bro!

    I’m hoping for the best but I watched the mike tomlin podcast on the pivot and it was easy to see why he has had success because he is a leader of men and connects with his players, I say that to say this it made me realize why McDaniels failed in Denver, sounded like he didn’t come off as genuine dude and a guy players wanted to rally around and trusted… hope he has learned that will be better in that area, that’s the only way he succeeds here
