I’ll tell you what the instant reaction was. Carr is not the QB that will take us to the next level. McDaniels is not a good coach. And Davis will never create a Super Bowl winning team. I’ve defended Carr all these years, but it’s time for a change. His accuracy just keeps getting worse every season. It was cool seeing the Adams & Carr reunion but that’s it, he’s done. He finally had a season with a surplus of offensive weapons and he wasn’t even able to take the team to a wild card game.
So if we had another qb we would have won.. it’s not Mcdaniels
Carr is not worth his contract let’s just get rid of him while ppl still want him. Time to time a new chapter
Davis is incapable of building a winning program. He needs to be pressured to the sell the team. He’s the worst owner in the NFL at this point
Jacobs was just named co-Captain and he made the ProBowl, and he’s not contractually bound to the Raiders after this season. He’s speaking his mind with Zero f***s given.
Merry Christmas Raider Nation! Life goes on, but everyone needs some venting to move on. So here’s mine, Three things cost the Raiders this game, First bad play calling by the coaches, mostly on offense, I understand the run game was struggling but you keep pounding until it works, throwing the ball as much as they did is an absolute head scratcher, and the defense played really good but Graham, you have a rookie QB in freezing temperatures and you want to play zone and only rushing 4 when the pass rush was not there, BLITZ! for crying out loud, but the defense is not to blame but I believe blitzing would of helped. Second, unfortunately Carr, I love this guy, big heart, but time and time again his lack of consistency and turnovers cost the Raiders the game, but again that also falls on McDaniels for calling so many passing plays, especially so many of them to the outside, those throws are hard in the cold weather. Third, that facemask penalty on Foster on that big run play from Jacobs that would probably put the game away if they could of scored a TD, that was big. One last note, while I do agree it’s probably time to move on from Carr, I will say this, if McDaniels still the coach next year, he’s going to have to get it together, because if that’s the play calling and preparations for the game you are going to have, no matter who’s the QB it’s a recipe for disaster. Unfortunately for Raider Nation, that there’s a possibility that we are going to have to go through this again next year if McDaniels doesn’t get it together, and have to start all over again…. Keep your head up Raider Nation! Merry Christmas!! Raaaiders!!
Great breakdown. I been telling people who blame carr for all this the same thing… no matter who the QB is they will have the same result with Mcds calling these terrible plays. Constantly balling out in the first quarter than losing in the second is not the players fault the common denominator points to the coach.
I love the Raiders. Love this years team. Our Achilles heel is our damn OL. Carr can’t focus when he’s running around. Our season is done. I hope we win out and get 2 dubs but in the draft/off season we need an O lineman

The Raiders always don’t play to its strengths. They play to experimentation. Every game that the Raiders have lost falls on the ineffective offense.
I hope JJ finds a good team that will give him the opportunities he needs, and a line he deserves. Wish Carr the best if McDaniels decides to pull the plug. ( years of blood sweat and tears, and it’s all thrown away cuz of this d-bag coaching us.

@trippthat was about JMD dummy. Carr ain’t the one that changed from running to passing. And he even said he has no clue why they did that in a cold game. Clearly a dig at McDaniels. Very clear. He said he sees how hard these guys work. Including Carr cuz he’s known for that. So that tells me it’s the coaching for sure. JMD does not make adjustments. Can’t wait until Carr does leave just to prove you all wrong. He will definitely win a ring on a decent team.

Carr has been regressing for 4 years now in major QB data stats – 3rd down conversion %, RZ TD %, Completion %, turnovers to TD ratio….he SUCKS RAIDER NATION! Its time to can the Carr if this team wants to REALLY compete!
Whats pathetic is Derek had it ALL SET UP for success this week: Refs gave the Keelan Cole TD, Chandler Jones’ amazing TD winning once in a lifetime play, the Jets, Titans, Patriots, Browns ALL LOST…and Derek SHITS THE BED again for a nearly 3 full quarters of profootball in a playoff type game atmosphere. Just repeated AWFUL passes high, wide left or right and straight up OUT OF BOUNDS again to Adams (Carr been doing that shizz all year to DaVante).

Your comments are accurate, the problem with the Raiders is and has been Mark Davis and his incompetence. Not unlike the LA Lakers, the kids of great owners are rarely great in their own right. How many crappy GM’s and HC’s have we seen over the past decade ? In a few years when “Josh and Dave” have been fired, the Raiders will do yet another re-build etc. Davis needs to sell the team or not be part of running the team, he just doesn’t have what it takes to be successful at that job.
Mark’s haircut is all I need to know about his ability to be an NFL owner.
