Kyle Robison well I would like that signing for sure. I know a lot of people feel like we need that big body receiver, but I really feel like boosting that O line should be at the top of the list. Obviously we don’t want to reach for talent we could get in later rounds, but with the number of receivers we got last year, I don’t think edc will go that route. But hey if we did go edge, receiver, I am not complaining 😂

@Rex GameWell exactly they will soon, they’ve finessed mahomes contract to roster bonuses but the cap hit will kick in, after this season so I can’t imagine them paying Zeus Jr, Honeybadger & frank clark they will lose someone unless they take pay cuts which I doubt they will with the cap going up

And get nothing in return? I’d rather get great compensation for a guy we picked in the 3rd round in 2018. We get 4 picks for this dude, it is insane return on investment. He was gonna walk anyway after this season.

I feel you, sucks to give him to the chiefs but if they did that i’m pretty sure it was the best deal we got. Chief might only have him for one year ( similar to the ravens with yannick ngakoue). Mahomes super contract kicks in in 2022 so they won’t have the money to pay him LT pro bowl money. Zeus jr. will most likely seek a new contract after his season with the chiefs

@king shark I kind of disagree, now the ravens have lots of draft flexibility and 2 firsts to use as trade assets and might move up or move down, and the ravens are also great at finding edge in the later rounds so the extra 3rd and 4th could help us alot

Have to agree. Besides, Zeus deserves to start at Left Tackle having established himself in that position last season. Ravens simply can’t keep 2 starting caliber LTs and the payout that goes along with that. While I don’t think we should have had to give them a 2nd round pick in the deal, I think overall this was the right move for Baltimore and OBJ. Love that guy and will miss him, but also happy for him and his future at LT. Should be an exciting draft now!!!

I mean they could but he didn’t want to play right tackle we have the highest cap in the nfl next year, 85m. He just wouldn’t have played.

This isnt a great trade u guys got chump change and we got a pro bowl young tackle and 2 picks u guys loss badly theres no differnce between the number 1 overall pick in the second round and the 31st ovr pick
