I could see him getting many more snaps on the interior than expected if Cody Ford doesn’t show any progress or has his continued injury issues. or even if feliciano isn’t improving in run blocking. He only gets significant snaps at T if there is an injury, which, in the NFL, is extremely probable anyway

@John Minn they didn’t want to fire the Gm right before the draft. That would be a circus.
Every pick so far is perfect choice and fit for us and I am amazed as the run blocking is where we need to improve and here we are along with DE quickness added. It’s like I dreamt this because they will make immediate impact for our SB win years.
Immediate impact? I’m not so sure… the starting DE’s will still be Hughes, Addison, and Epenesa. I don’t see Basham or Rousseau getting more than 30% of snaps. These are more long-term signings because JH and MA are 32 and 33 and will probably be gone next year. So those 3 – basham, rousseau, and epenesa, will be the edge guys from 2022. Same with Spencer Brown. He’s not taking snaps for Dawkins or Williams at T, but might be some insurance at G if Cody Ford doesn’t take a step forward, Feliciano is just average, or if there are injuries.
I think they are safe, smart picks for the future, but I would definitely NOT call them ‘immediate impact.’ If we went with one of the promising CB’s like Tyson Campbell or Asante Samuel at 30, got a linebacker/safety hybrid like JOK, or a skill player like a WR or RB, I’d say they were going to get a ton of snaps from day 1. But Beane is opting to try out basically the same team from last year and see if that is good enough for 2021-2022. These guys won’t be major contributing starters at least for just this season.
