It was tough to watch. Denver has lots of potential but those penalties kill them.
Should’ve gone for it on fourth and five and not kicked a 64 yard field goal. in my humble opinion.
Good opinion since kickers are 2 out 29 on 64+ yard attempts since 2000. All time longest FG made in that stadium is 56 yards.
@Bubbie don’t matter. You’re getting paid a ton of money to make it if you’re out there, means he’s done it many times in practice. He’s a good kicker he barely missed it. People would complain if they went for it and threw an incomplete pass.
@cfjen nobody would’ve complained if they went for it, it was the obvious decision
@Owen Heinze Nah the obvious decision was to win the f****** game when you had a chance to. the kicker blew it
@Owen Heinze Everyone complains when they lose they would have been like that was a terrible play call should have kicked the fg
64 yard fgs can’t happen, with the game on the line. 4th and 5. Go for it. Call a Time Out, and run a quick pass play to Albert O.
I’m so angry right now, I flipped my dining room table and broke my bedroom lamp, I’m so heated , I’m pacing back and forth heated right now. I can’t believe this team gets me so angry !
Go hawks
@David MYKAL
@Oliver Day
Broncos country… let’s hide!!!
@Doug E Fresh you should stop watching football bro
Love the live post-game show guys! As far as the team, it seems they may have benefited from playing the starters a good half or so during the preseason as it seems it took them that long to get their collective “$#!^” together.
Kickers are 2 out 29 on 64+ yard attempts since 2000. All time longest FG made in that stadium is 56 yards.
Tough loss tonight but I’m sure coach Hackett will rally the troops and have the guys ready to play and win next game. Just got a few loose ends to tie up. Let’s Ride!
this is the right attitude
Alright. Ima relax this one time. We need to bounce back. This game was so winnable even with the 2 goal line mistakes, the clock management, and letting geno look like mahomes for 3 quarters. I still have hope with this team but man we need to be more disciplined. Game was winnable and now we will be clowned for losing to the miserable Seahawks. We need to bounce back
The Texans not gonna be easy
@zwebby onthebeat Broncos win in a blowout, first home game of the year. Coming in after a loss like this. Broncos win big.
There’s no shame losing to us, you guys should be used to it
Frustrating, no doubt we left alot out there tonight. On the bright side it’s good to see actual drives put together but not being able to finish them was wild & disappointing.
Fr it’s good to see that we can drive down the field with ease. Lots of good to take away from this. Obviously lots of bad too, hopefully all of it will be fixed as the season goes on.
Forget the FG attempt. We should of never been close to that situation. TWO fumbles inside the 1 yard line, dropped TDs, penalties, penalties and guess what more penalties. Seattle’s Offense was literally penalties. It shouldn’t be possible to lose a game Where your QB throws for 340 yards and a TD, you rush for over 100 yards, and have the ball inside the redzone 4 times and two of the times they were inside the 1 yard line. And you only allow 17 points.
Orange Crush you’re absolutely right. The past few years the broncos have been doing terribly in the redzone and now we can’t close a one yard gap for a TD this game. I think it was partly playcall and partly O-line not executing. Russ performed as he should have despite a couple balls overthrown. If we tighten up the pass protection, the run blocking, and a little coaching adjustment, we will be on a roll.
It’s still early. They will clean these mistakes up. Next week we will be saying “wow the broncos look great and they can make a run” Seahawks had something to prove this will be their biggest win on the season.
@Secured Hauling LLC agree. Let Coach get his scheme together. Cant forget that none of our offensive starters didn’t play in the pre season. We’ll be alright, everyone overreacting. Literally just one game, wouldve been nice to win but we’re gonna be ok.
@Lineback3r54 Yards themselves don’t win games obviously. But they put you in positions to score. And we were in plenty of positions to score we just didn’t execute /choked. Anyone with eyes knows that this should of been at minimum a 2 TD win for denver, but the fumbles on the 1 and the Penalties killed us.
@Orange Crush2.0 I’m a seahawks fan and I agree the seahawks played their hearts out and made far fewer mistakes than the broncos. I also know the sehawks made more big time plays than the broncos. All of the broncos mistakes and errors are relatively much easier to clean up and will be addressed is my only point. The goal line stuff will be fixed before you know it with rapport between the starters and practice for example. But my golly especially when nearly everyone was saying seahawks would lose 44-3 or 55-0 feels good getting that win.
Im a seahawk fan and I want to say that was a mistake not putting the ball in russ’s hands at the end of the game. Horrible message to send to him in his first game. He was your best option. With that said, your in for a show this season. Wilson will win if they let him!!
One of the most embarrassing losses in franchise history. And inexcusable coaching at the end. It’s gonna be a long time before we live this one down. Humiliating doesn’t even begin to describe it
Vance Joseph v2
Lol it was game 1 dude
” NFL stands for Not For Long when you make calls like that. ”

Seahawks fan here. Good game! In retrospect, glad we got you week 1. Most of our roster had played all preseason because they were competing for roster spots, or to start. This was like your preseason for many starters all in one game. You’ll destroy the Texans week 2.
Not with that type of coaching Ive lost faith in this franchise already
@Wyatt Young no your just a toxic fan. Terribly coached game but dosent mean you can’t improve.

The Broncos are the first team since the 1987 Chiefs to lose two fumbles from the opponent’s 1-yard line in the same game, per Elias Sports Bureau. The last instance happened in a game utilizing replacement players.
The fact that Hackett didn’t come out to defend his name and team and ensure fans going further shows his leadership he’s not willing to take complete blame for a horrible call he made kinda a joke
Same thing Russ has been doing last three years. Russ takes forever to get the play called and takes delay of game penalties. Fortunately the Seattle defense is so bad that he had 15 minutes to pass the ball, and was getting over 6 yards per carry when handing it off. Now imagine against a defense that can actually pressure a QB and cover?!?!
There have only been 2 successful field goals from 64 years or longer in NFL history.
They should have played some snaps in the preseason. The team is not gelling yet. With that said they will bounce back next week. Teaching and learning moment.
Come on Russell, don’t bring any of that Seattle BS to Denver. You either want to be here or you don’t. But all those emotions need to go. let’s get fired up man & get that Texan win. We love ya
