We did 6 years ago. And we got Ramsey and Stafford who is probably more valuable then drafting on the 1st day.

@RIO909 Still a little uneasy about Stafford’s health tbh. He’s been pretty beat up the past few years. Also, we still don’t know who’s going to play center. Qb protection is a must

@Trevor Robinson hopefully Creed Humphrey can fall or Corbett will go to C and we will have Bobby Evans go to LG and David Edwards go to RG. Which is prolly what’s gonna happen

@RIO909 Although those players were well worth it, I still think fans would love to get excited for the Rams to pick in the first round. I was there at Staples when the Rams picked Jared Goff with the number 1 overall draft pick. It was electric because of the controversy behind it over which qaurterback was going to get picked first, Goff or Wentz. I know I’m not the only who misses drafting in the first round. It was a big event for me.

@soulburst Goff is gone. Now you have a HOF caliber gunslinger that has been very accurate the past 6 seasons, and has had some of the most 4th quarter comebacks in NFL history.

@Ethan Smith and has never won a playoff game and 90 losses in 12 season great numbers. You don’t get in to the HOF with those numbers.

@soulburst You’re not as popular with a bad organization, so he might not end up in the HOF. He’s top 40 maybe top 30 all time, and currently a top 10 QB in the league. He’s got 5-6 elite years left in him, and he’s going to break 60,000 yards and 350TD’s if he plays out the rest of his career.

I would trade away a late first round pick for a proven player any day

I mean we still have up to 6 picks and pick amazing in late rounds

First 10 seconds you will see an all white jersey and pants with blue helmet and white horns.

Then @.10 far right you will see dark blue pants, bold blue numbers, dark helmet and yellow horns.

Where are picks being thrown away? you’re saying this as if Snead and his staff hasn’t acquired talent in the later rounds which is literally shown in the video.

@SHOT BY NOLAN that’s a dim argument. Every player that gets drafted has talent otherwise they wouldn’t be in a position to be drafted at all. I’m talking about giving up picks that would haven given the Rams the opportunity to draft the top echelon college players. And what did you give them up for? A guy like Stafford (as just 1 example) who has been beat up for many years and is at the tail end. This reminds me of the 70’s and 80’s when they brought in “has-beens” like Joe Namath, Bert Jones, Dieter Brock, Steve Bartkowski, etc. Only they didn’t give up 1st round picks. Granted, Stafford still has more left than those guys did, but still…two first rounders and a third? Come on man!
