    MCDC wanted to see Goff step up and demand the ball. When that didn’t happen he decided a FG would be a better decision than punting. Goffs mentality is close, but not quite there. The seasons entirely on him being at his best. He cant lean on defense or special teams. He cant run from the moment. If goff can’t get it done for the lions it wont get done this season. If he wants that 100m guaranteed hes gotta earn by going balls out.

I love this team so much! The energy, the positive energy surrounding this team right now is off the meter. There is something really special happening like never seen in this town. I know that this season they may not even finish with a winning record. That’s being realistic. This is the NFL. On any Sunday the weakest team in the league can top the best because when it gets down to it it’s 11 guys out there going hard against 11 guys intent on beating them down. Still, it’s a new era in Detroit Lions football. Just listen to anyone in the organization from top to bottom. Listen to their words and speech. Hear that optimism. Hear that wisdom and the focus. Shelia Ford is building a winner! Bet that!
