@Bananacut Lock’s inaccuracy is highly overblown. He had countless insane throws in tight windows that were perfect. His inaccuracy on the short ball while scrambling was footwork. His inaccuracy on his interceptions was falling back with pressure in his face. He corrected that largely by the end of the year. His accuracy on the deep ball, was mostly due to volume. He threw way more deep balls, 2nd highest IAY, which are inherently less accurate. Also, I noticed a pattern with him overthrowing his speed receivers (Jeudy/Hamler/Hamilton), but hitting Patrick and Fant perfectly every time. I suspect there is a big trust issue with those missed throws. He seems to be intentionally overthrowing the coverage versus trusting his speed receivers to make the play.

@kormathaw A bro Ik I watched the games but it’s still can be a issue I’ve seen him overthrow some guys to I think sometimes it’s a chemistry thing like with jeudy etc. more then accuracy but yeah

Every year these guys do the same thing and hype up all the new QB’s. There will one sure thing and a bunch of bust. I’m worried the Broncos will give up lots of draft capital for one of these future backups. Just give Drew a real chance this year!

    Aaron Sondag

    Yes!

    SuperBzerker

Same story different yr. Always happens. Everyone is so sure the new toy will be better than the last

    Digit

I do not think George Paton is dumb enough to move up and give up lots of draft capital

Joshua Rodriguez

Already convinced myself Lock and every rookie didn’t get a fair season last year with all the big name injuries first 3 weeks not gonna be mad if they stick with lock even though the moves they’ve made this off season show they’re lookin for something else

James Nash

can’t really fault the guy. he hasn’t had any stability.

Danny Roku

Better not draft a qb round 1 😐

Leroy Santistevan

You are all programmed 2 believe in repetition. You all said the same stuff last year.” His last 4 games where very good. Quotation marks your all malarkey!

Aaron Crayton

Bruh mason be high af

Gorden Boccia

Better hope for him.

I think the key for this year at QB is, what’s your Plan B? I really like Lock and believe he can make a huge leap this year. But I also acknowledge that is no guarantee, and (barring another injury bug like last year) we have the team to make a run with average QB play. I have no problem with drafting Fields at 9, or trading down and bringing in a vet like Bridgewater/Minshew/Foles as a Plan B. What I have a problem with are the people advocating trading away Lock and 3 future firsts to get the 4th QB in the draft. Fields/Lance/Mac all have the potential to be excellent. They all the have potential to take a couple years to develop. They all have the potential to bust. The question is, if they do bust, what’s your plan B? You have a worthless QB, and no way to draft or trade for a new one for the next 3 years.

Love this show. I’ll take Fields first Lance second. The Bronco fanbase is very impatient was that part of why James thought Lance was not a fit. On next episode I’d love to ask panel what is your top player in Trade up also @9 if we trade down @ 14 @ 24?

Trade up Fields/Lance
9. Pitts/Chase/Waddle
14. J. Phillips Edge Miami
24. Farley/Newsome CB’s

James Wilson

I think the Broncos need to draft a QB because that is our biggest need. We need someone to compete with Lock but I don’t know if Lock is the answer however he did terrible last year. He has many weapons but last year was limited in practice and with 2 staring rookie WR’s on top of limited practices because of the virus did not give him a fair situation. It’s a tough decision but I would go QB
