INSANE ENDING IN THE LARGEST COMEBACK IN NFL HISTORY – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE

Insane game. Matt Ryan must feel hurt after this onešŸ˜”

    Eduard Siger

    @Bo And men

    Thomas Pick

@TheDudeMan. Feel like? How about smell like? The losing players must be excreting stinky wet farts in the locker room after this one. The shower stall must be brown with liquid turds and brown chunks being washed down the drain. Utterly gassed!

    Thomas Pick

@Christopher Florio. True. Hard to be a defense player these days. But, we do like high scoring games. That is why not many people enjoy watching a soccer match. Zero points scored. Ending decided by a penalty kick. Boring. As boring as watching a baseball no hitter being thrown.

    Stephen Trader

Manning would have had this team in the playoffs. Luck as well. Matt ryan has put on one of the worst performances at qb since curtis painter in 2011.the number of fumbles and ints and leading the colts to one of the wirst scoring offenses in franchise history.

    Scott Jones

@Eduard Siger I wouldn’t say Ryan was ever a great QB but he has been very good.
He’s had one Super Bowl appearance where, once they had that big lead over New England, had they used up the clock by running just a little bit more, they’d have probably won.
At this late stage in his career, I think he needs a lot of high quality parts around him to succeed – and at Indianapolis, high quality parts have become too few & far between.

Kirk ā€œThe Goatā€ Cousins

That was the longest 4th quarter and overtime of my life

    Y B

Well yeah thats the longest game ever played in history as well. Ive never seen another game go for 4 hours.

    Stephen Trader

Similar to colts chiefs playoff game back in jan 2015 when the colts rallied fron 28 down to win

    Jimmy J. Rustle

Dude the Colts had so many chances to just run down the clock and win the game. They could have even let the Vikings score a TD in between drives.

    K Ticket

    Ok sure Krik!

    Giffond Hall

    lmaoo

    jeremy caldwell

Ryan may retire after this yr, how many points does he hv to be up to secure a win in the nfl?

    Kendall Scrimshaw

    @jeremy caldwell At least 34

    K Ticket

Didnā€™t he also blown out that game in superbowl?

johnstjohn1987

Brady: “I’m gonna lead a comeback down 25 points.”

Cousins: “Hold my Beer.”

    esl teachor

    Cousins: “You like that?!”
Brady: “Hold my (7 and counting) rings”

    esl teachor

@johnstjohn1987 you mean when he earns his…wait for it…8th ring (compared to Cousins/Vikes ZERO?)

    Derek Hambleton

I can’t believe people blame cousins every game.

    Notbu Yingit

    Cousins; “hold my bible”

    Lee

    Matty Ice: “Hold my ice.”

Nikki Covington

This was the crazy game ever from having 33-0 in the first half and then coming back with a 36-36 and tied the game to overtime and then a flip up punts and then a field goal with 7 seconds left and won the game 39-36 and this was insane with the largest craziness comeback of year and they have clinched the NFC North now this is crazy because the Minnesota Vikings just wanted it today in the 2nd half because it been the longest game of year and the Minnesota Vikings almost had a interception by Camryn Bynum and he was very close and couldn’t get there in time. What a crazy greatest comeback in the NFL History.

    leslie Greybuffalo

    Yes so oooohhh good.

    hobsdigree2

Dude, the people leaving at half time though šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Cruizy McSloozy

The whole stadium singing along to Donā€™t Stop Believing in the final 2 minutes of regulation sums up the entire Vikings season, and history. This is one of most passionate and driven teams of all time. I hope they win the super bowl. Kirk deserves it. The O-line deserves it. The fans need it.

    Boden Bratley

I was there and it was awesome!

    2 _

    No the browns need it..

    Evan Ranger

    Lions need this SB win

    Evan Ranger

    adam lee

@Donald Richardson i watched that game! I think Vikings have special DNA of comdback

    Jon Cain

    Put some respect on Dalvin

    adam lee

@Jon Cain absolutely right!! Dalvin was insane too!!ā™”

Tony Coast

That’s coaching right there. For you to be getting blown out 33-0 at the half, and convince those men that they can still go out and win that game and have them fully buy into it? Great coaching.

    RichĆ rd Therichard

Arguably itā€™s his lack of coaching experience that got us into that situation in the 1st place. 2 missed 4th down conversions inside our own 40 in the 1st half. A pick 6, a Dalvin cook fumble. A blocked punt. If you ask me? The colts werenā€™t beating the Vikings 33-0. The Vikings were beating the Vikings 33-0.

Koc has to figure out how to get this team ready for kick off regardless of what time or day of the week kick off might fall on. We got lucky this time, that the colts arenā€™t the cowboys.

    Chris K47

@RichĆ rd Therichard not really dude. A lot of the first half was just a lack of execution and mistakes. Like Reagor making the wrong cut for the pick 6. Miscommunications left and right. Go back and watch the film. Ive already watched the game twice. Yeah coaching wasn’t great in first half of course, u can argue he shouldn’t have gone for it on 4th down those two times but he was trying to swing momentum. Also it only costed us 3 points. Our guys just were not executing, period. KOC clearly instilled belief in these guys when down 33. Which is amazing. Its unfair to say hes to blame for the first half.. i do agree that KOC called a terrible game against the Lions. But the gameplan against colts wasnt bad. Execution was embarrassing

    ljvue

Going for it twice early when the ball is still in your territory was bad coaching. Doing a trick play on first down inside the 5 yard line last weekend was bad coaching. Playing cover 6 with a 3-4 shell 80% of the time when the offense keeps running seam routes and post corner routes is bad coaching. And Iā€™m a die hard Vikings fan. Keep it simple and we wonā€™t be in these situations. Problem solved!

    Chris K47

@ljvue yes ed Donatell is trash.

    Joshua B

It was a script they were meant to win the whole time all this is is sports entertainment

Joseph Talmadge

As a 49ers fan I was rooting against the vikings for obvious reasons but I got to tip my hat to you guys what a effen comeback and congratulations on winning your division

    Cipher 8

@skooly nugenator Dude me too. We gotta win out or the 49ers will take the 2nd seed. Even if they don’t get it if they come to US Bank it might be season over. Philly (although I want a rematch), Dallas, and 49ers scare me.

    Derek Hambleton

Thanks bro. Vikings fan giving love too the second best team in the NFL lol. Jk. Best of luck SF

    Derek Hambleton

@Cipher 8 eagles 9ers scare me. Definitely not cowboys

    Joseph Talmadge

    @Derek Hambleton lol thanks man

    Joseph Talmadge

    @Craig Wheeler absolutely šŸ’Æ bro

lexsea

man the vikings have to go all the way this year no way theyā€™ve had all these insane miracles and comebacks to not make the SB

    Matthew Torres

if your team needs an insane miracle or comeback to win a game against the 4-8-1 colts your team is not good enough to make it to the sbšŸ˜‚

    LennyBrainz

@Matthew Torres no other team in the nfl could do that besides the Vikings there good enough šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

    Alberto Welch jr

@michael morleyI thinks so, if they keep this up, we will see

    Andi M.87

    wwe

    Matthew Torres

@LennyBrainz not true at all not even a cowboys fan but they put up 33 in a single quarter on that same colts team. good teams dont get into that spot against bad teams

ShadowClown

Definition of , “the games not over, till it’s over.” The ‘never giving up’ mentality from the Vikings seems to be their moto for this season.

Goldenstar#1

The fact they lost a teammate after him hurting his ankle is just amazing šŸ¤©

Don’t ever walk away from the ending of a Vikings game. You might miss something special! What a year!

    Hell yes

    hobsdigree2

I got to the stadium at half time, we were debating turning around listening to the game on the radio on the drive out there. I seriously want to hear from the people who were all leaving and angry as we got there, they missed history and there were sooooo many of them, frustrated, saying the game was over. I can only imagine how much more frustrating it must be knowing you left early, missing Vikings and NFL history being made, I wish I would have recorded the walk to the stadium at half time, so many angry people leaving.

MIKERUPTION

Who would’ve thought that the Vikings could top that Bills game? This is a special team.

    lil skiddils

@esl teachor cant beat a team you havent faced but ok

    TheDude101

    Bills vs oilers 1992
35-3 after halftime with a backup quarterback comeback and win 38-41

    MIKERUPTION

@esl teachor I didn’t say perfect. You have to admit that some of the Vikings’ wins this year were amazing – not to mention exciting. Enjoy the ride!

    MIKERUPTION

@TheDude101 I didn’t see the game, but it sounds every bit as improbable as this game. šŸ™‚

    esl teachor

@lil skiddils Cowboys and Philly have both beaten Vikes, and will do so again if they meet in postseason

Cleveland Hopkins Spotter

WOW. Watched the whole 2nd half and still couldn’t believe this comeback after the game. My dad said to me he’d watched the oilers vs bills playoff game with the 32 point comeback and he said i could tell my kids about this and then maybe someday they could witness a comeback like this and tell their kids and so on… This was such an insane game…

Scott Panek

Man. That puts me in tears watching dalvin and tj tying the game and hearing the crowd. Wow. Great stuffšŸ˜€

    hobsdigree2

Rofl, the people who left at half time saying it was over thoughšŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ sucks to be them!!!!

rblauson

Kirk has changed. He used to be fickle. But you canā€™t engineer the greatest comeback in NFL history in one half of football as an average QB. Itā€™s time Kirk gets the respect he deserves.
1) he has a cannon for an arm and heā€™s accurate.
2) heā€™s smart and he can read a defense.
3) he isnā€™t mobile but give him 3 seconds in the pocket and HE WILL carve you to pieces.
4) he leads a LOT of game winning come backs.
5) he is DURABLE. He was sacked 7 times this game, multitudes the last few games and he keeps on getting up and up and up. We may take for granted how seemingly indestructible he really is.
And the most important asset he has that he never seems to get enough credit for –
6) HE HAS HEART AND HE JUST WONT QUIT.
bottom line – heā€™s developing into a legendary QB.

    GetterPlaysEverything

He doesnā€™t have a cannon lol. Not weak armed but doesnā€™t have a cannon.

    Jacob Bastian

@GetterPlaysEverything he absolutely has a cannon. He can and has easily dropped 50+ air yard dimes time and time again. Just because hes doesnt have josh allens arm doesnt mean he doesnt have a cannon

    Da Gov

    I love the comment.

lisasbooklife -Lisa Hennessey

Best ever example of never giving up until the game is over. Great sports at its best right here. SKOL! So hoping we in Man and the Vikings cam finally get to the superbowl this year! It’s a year they truly deserve it!!!

    Yes

The comeback was insane, but the fact that they had to come back from being down 33-0 *to the Colts*, of all teams….not a good sign. Indy is the worst offense in the league. Their average PPG is 16 & change. They put up twice their average PPG against the Vikes *in the first half alone*. Play that poorly against any of the other playoff-bound teams and they’ll be on their couches for the rest of post. If you watch all of the playoffs teams’ games this season, the Vikings are really the only team who don’t have a clearly dominant win that instills confidence. I don’t know. I am very impressed with the offense, and the fact that the defense stepped up and only allowed 3 points in the second half is also impressive, but the fact that they were ever down by 33 points to the Colts is a point that can’t be ignored. I’m not confident in this team in the playoffs, and it has everything to do with the defense (Donatell, specifically). We’ll see how it plays out, but they can’t just rely on the offense to compensate for abysmal defensive scheming when it comes to the postseason. Hopefully Donatell gets it figured out, because at this point, they’d be better off letting the defense improvise on the field. Very conflicted in my feelings about this team. The offense is FOR REAL, and the defense has the talent, but Donatell’s schemes are clearly horrific. Until they give us a dominating, convincing win where all phases are firing on all cylinders, I’m not ready to start getting too optimistic.

Chairman Meow

As a non-Vikings fan Im happy for you guys and all, but you gotta carry it through a postseason for once!!

GamingWithJJ

There is something so crazy when 60,000+ fans are all cheering after one big play. Just an unexplainable feeling.

    hobsdigree2

Dude, the people who left at half time, frustrated and angry have even more of a reason to be frustrated and angry now!šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

    GamingWithJJ

@hobsdigree2 thatā€™s very funny and very true. I wanted to stop watching because it was so frustrating to watch but I am a die hard and like to watch to the very end even if we are getting blown out like a philly in 2017 and Dallas a few weeks ago. Because you just never know and this game is exactly why especially with the team the Vikings have this year they have found ways to win week after week. They donā€™t give up. The nfl is lucky the vikes didnā€™t comeback vs the Cowboys after they switched coverage or fans would be outraged. They gotta be careful taking the Vikings off the air with the way they have been able to comeback and make things a game again a few times and win them all since they win all the one score games lol.
