@Jim D The Saints are going to score points – they’re a good team. We need to slow them down get a few stops, force some field goals instead of TD’s and maybe force a turnover or 2. The Bucs D just need to give the O a chance to win the game. They don’t need to pitch a shutout.

@Jim D thats false only reason they played zone last game is because heinke can run. You play zone against qbs that can run. Drew brees is a statue. Trust me they will play way more man.

@Jim D don’t think so according to some guy on Twitter he said Arians thought Chicago played great defense all game except the drive where bears where in zone

He’s much better in the pass game as well…both catching the ball as well as blocking and picking up blitzes.

Right, both teams have beaten one good (individual) team (NO just did it twice).

@Garrett wood Game one – first live snaps between a new QB and the receivers – and still put up 23 points against them. Week 9 was a poor game – which happens, but even saying that, there were some legit reasons why they didn’t have a very good game. Bucs have been building going into the playoffs and the Saints have kind of limped into the playoffs. Brees hasn’t looked himself since coming back from his injury….but the only game that matters now is the next one.

Soooo I know raiders aren’t in the playoffs but weren’t they a good team we beat this season as well??

Defense will only beat the Saints

@Yote Duster Not even scoring. Not letting Brees run them down and having them punt is a win. Brees is a quick thrower which is our problem. Hes fast. They need to play man to man

@black wolf101 Amen – NO zone cover….Brees gets through his progression too quickly for that. There will always be someone open in the seams, and even blitzing we won’t get home in time to stop them. Brees hasn’t totally been himself since coming back from injury….a big sack could either knock him out of the game, or put a level of fear in him that alters his game.

Gronk played a game winning role in the blocking game against the Skins.That’s where he is needed against the Saints.

No need to be worried – it’s just a game. Bucs have a legit chance to win – but they’re both really good teams. It isn’t going to be a stress free game where Brady can take off the second half like the Lions!!
