Barber will make it easily. Maybe not a first ballot but he will definitely make it. If Joe Namath (65.5 qb reading) is in the HOF Barber definitely deserves to be in there.

John Lynch being a 8 time selection while Barber is the first shows the HOF is very interested in Lynch. They just had to get the “certain ones” in the first the previous 7 years. This year of the four to eight slots available three are definite already. They are: Peyton Manning, Charles Woodson and Clay Matthews. That leaves 2 more slots for the remaining 12 candidates if 5 are taken like usual. Barber won’t get in, almost no chance on this ballot. Lynch has a good chance as after 8 years many get in on that ballot. If you count on the usual 5, then hopefully one goes to Lynch – he has a chance.
