That is what I don´t understand in the comments by the Bucs coaches and actually everybody who saw the slaughter. That was not American Football as we know it. The Saints players are being coached to hurt other players intentionally so that to take them out in stretches, no fair game at all. It goes far beyond being a contact sport… And the worst of all — they are trained to do that in such a way not to break the rules… The end result is that not only did they target and injure most of the Bucs defense players, but left the remaining players scared to death of being taken out as well, sometimes with injuries for life. What a sad game to watch and I am surprised more people are not appalled by what happened in the field with the violence.

Saints went knee hunting all game! A team doesn’t get 3 major injuries because of the same type of tackling. That wasn’t a fluke!

They’re known for dirty tackling! A shame when it’s the top 3 O players. Adversity builds character!

The offensive line was offensive, Brady was stepping up trying to avoid being sacked while waiting for someone to get open. The Saints never got in the end zone so the defense played well.

Wrong. Saints have been struggling with a ton of injuries also. It looked to me like both teams were playing football. All hits were legal. Hamstring injuries are the result of how the player reaches, lands, cuts or pushes off. Every team has those happen all year long.

Only one tackle was deliberate and illegal because it’s known to cause season or career ending injuries, the one on Winston. The celebration after Winston was on the ground helpless tells you even more.
All those hamstring injuries are the same ones that tons of other teams have been experiencing, it’s not specific to this team. No one can anticipate which games are the ones where injuries happen. Both teams were playing with intensity and putting themselves in awkward positions stretching themselves to make big plays.
Every team has lots of players on IR right now.
Bucs roster already showed many knee injuries (IR) before this game even happened. It’s football.
