Yes, I feel Denver got a perfect fit for GM Paton’s team. It is all about positivity, synergy, energy, and “family”. Highly interested to see this off season and then see if it works when it matters. “The goal is the playoffs”.
Thanks for the Drew Lock support! There are only a few of us out here that make sense, most of the fans are impatient, disrespectful, selfish, short-term thinkers, that want instant gratification, without the hard work, type of fans! Which is totally not true Denver Broncos fans! Let’s me explain, Denver struggled with three Super Bowl losses in the 80’s, and with no light at the end of the tunnel, had to work even harder, to fight with every last ounce of strength to get back to the Super Bowl in the 90’s, and then once we got back there, we were underdogs again, against the Green Bay Packers, and we had to eat Packers sh*t all week long building up to the Super Bowl, all about how great the Packers were, and how did we ever think that we had a chance to win? But, on that glorious day, when our players, became soldiers, in a war for their respect, they believed in themselves, when nobody else did, laced up their cleats, threw on their shoulder pads, and prepared for the toughest battle of their entire careers. And when their leader John Elway had the game on the line, gritted his teeth, put his head down, barreled forward with the determination of winning the battle at all cost, and in front of a whole nation, he flew with a helicopter spin to gain the yardage that was needed, and gained the respect for our fans, and our team, our organization, and to take that step that would propel us into World Champions, gracefully, and finally, a light at the end of a tunnel of darkness! You see, we didn’t buy a win, like the LA Rams, nobody remembers this last Super Bowl! What people remember is when BOYS become MEN, when hard-work perseveres, when Von Miller against all odds, takes over a Super Bowl with shear determination to win! That’s the sign of a true Champion! This is what our country, our team, and our RESPECT is built upon! So, don’t talk to me about trading all of our picks away for Aaron Rodgers! Talk to me about supporting a kid, from Missouri, who everyone disrespects, who everyone gives him sh*t, and says that he will never amount to spit! Gimme that kid, and rally around him, and watch a BOY become a MAN, and watch how he defies all odds, and laces up his cleats, and makes everyone eat their words, and gains the respect of a whole nation! I’ll take that kid, over an MVP, any day! Go Broncos!

I am still a Lock fan. I have seen a great deal of maturation in his play. His fourth season could be the year; that would be a normal NFL QB maturation rate. Manning still holds the rookie QB interception record, his second season was not much better; he managed to win 5 league MVPs and two SBs. Lock has not had a suitable coaching staff for QB development. However, this is a new (extremely complicated) offense so another year behind a top tier QB might help. We all know who that might be. With this staff he could really blossom. Maybe Rodgers is not necessary. Might be better to keep pick #9 and get an edge or OT. Though I will not shed a tear if Denver gets Rodgers.

@No Wonder they could bring in Jimmy as a bridge if they wanted. Lock on the roster or not means nothing. There is no starter in this draft. Pickett is the next closest thing but he is what he is. Wont get much better.
Lock on the roster actual means a great deal. Hackett won’t allow two number two qbs on the roster like Fangio did last year w Bridgewater and Lock. 2.) and I know until after the draft people will think comments like this came from no where but there is no chance the Broncos draft a qb in this draft class (one of the worst ever) when so many veterans are available and when in 2 years the qbs available to draft if needed will be galaxies beyond this years. I understand it’s part of the fun of the off-season getting pumped up watching tape and speculating who goes where which I am as well but entertaining the idea the Broncos would draft a qb at 9 when there isn’t 1 qb worth a top 10 pick instead of using that pick for a trade or drafting one of the many talented defensive players or tanks at o line just doesn’t make any sense. I guess I should’ve just said that.
