That’s the excuse the Jacksonville coach used for not playing him. As to whether it’s true or not, I’m sure the Jets wouldn’t pick up a player with a knee issue, they must have checked him out beforehand.

@Billy SBC I’m not making excuses though I’m not even a fan of either team I just like underdog teams. The jets are kinda the old browns would love to see them make it to the playoffs shake the league up.
All these other teams have big name talent the jets have heart you can see it not about the big $$$.

Joe Douglas is anything but a passive GM. It’s like he has an ongoing backup plan for every last position, assuming that an injury can happen, and has a list of players he would acquire if the starter goes down. This guy comes to work PREPARED! Go Jets!
