@Billy SBC I cannot determine if this is sarcastic or not but Justin Hardee did apologize after the game, however he shouldn’t have to. Yes, special teams gave up a TD but the offense scored three points. QB was the only reason the offense struggled so much. You shouldn’t lose a game of football when you only give up 10 points.

@Billy SBC I saw the gunner who got double teamed blocked talking to the media in the locker room saying it was all on him and that he’s better than that. ST played really well and covered 9 punts very well, the defense singlehandedly kept us in this game and it was squandered by a terrible offensive performance.

@Billy SBC actually yes, look up Justin hardy’s interview post game. He is a captain and apart of the special teams. He very much took the blame even more than Wilson. The special teams can only do so much if the offense can’t move the chains for shi*. If we keep punting, something bad is inevitable to happen.
He’s a good kid. He’s a leader. Unfortunately he’s 23 and he needs to grow up and control his emotions. He also needs to settle down and get back to the fundamentals and sling that ball like he knows how to. Gotta be accurate on the gimmes
Now that’s the correct attitude Zach, a little bit of humbling can go a long way! Who knows, this benching could be the turning point in his career

@dennis obrycki I pretty much agree I watched that press conference after all the backlash including from former players I respect and I’m lost it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be, when he answered no it felt more like he’s done talking to the media than complete lack of accountability, it was a mistake but more of how to handle media than anything else people act like his career is over, I like the benching from Saleh for football reasons only not because of anything Zach said

While Saleh is at it he should bench lafleur who had another horrible game plan 24 yes from RB!

Was wondering if his parents would say anything to him and hearing him say his dad called him and said basically wtf are you doing shows me his parents aren’t those types that would start bashing the team and acting like their son is perfect like so many do!! Agree hopefully this is the turning point for him to get it together and lead them to the promise land soon!!!
I’ve been a Jets fan for a long time and I’ve seen everything a loyal fan can see over a long period of time, I think he’s a good kid who needs to mature a little more and be a little more humble, I believe he has the talent and will bounce back from this!!
@The Twitchin Hour I hear you and don’t disagree. Hope MW is the guy who can offer that stability, yet I have my many doubts. Again, hope I’m wrong. But, if not, it’s worth noting ZW is 5-0 and below average but not terrible against any team not called the patriots lol. I don’t think he would’ve been as trash this week, I think he would’ve done just enough to squeak by a trash bears D. But hopefully you’re right and this is the wake up call he needs.

We all need to support the kid & hope that he learns from this experience , because let’s face it , we all want him to succeed … he’s 22 yo , I think we lose sight of that fact .
The talent is there it’s the fundamentals he needs to get back to & improve upon , along with the mental aspect of his game … I really think this team needs to find a replacement for Greg Knapp, may he RIP , I feel Zach needs a seasoned QB coach to work with him & help him tap into the enormous talent this kid possesses.

At 23 I was a cocky know it all. And I was really immature even for that age.
My attitude and big mouth set me back in my career for a long time before I grew up and learned to take responsibility. Hopefully Zach comes around quicker than I did!
The disrespect Zachary Wilson has gotten is so heartbreaking. The kid went 5-2, won games in Green Bay and Pittsburgh, only losses were to the greatest defensive coach of all time. I hate Jet fans 😢
