It doesn’t because we don’t have a pass rush
Don’t be stupid. Blocking pass rush is not the same as blocking blitzers. Blocking pass rush is straightforward: all that matters is the OL’s ability to block the defenders in front of them. Blocking blitzes is more complicated because there are things like stunts, delays, and other techniques meant to deceive or confuse the OL. Playing against a blitzing defense mentally prepares an OL for potential blitzes they might see and allows them to recognize scheme, formation, etc. much more quickly and be able to do what is necessary to cover it.
In this context, the Ravens’ creative, high-blitz defense (regardless of the individual rushers) greatly improves each lineman’s mental prowess, and thus their ability to block those same blitzes when other teams run them. This is entirely different than a defense that relies on an individual pass rusher (or rushers) to repeatedly get free via his own athletic talent.
Stanley, Cleveland, Bozeman, Zeitler, and Villanueva. Backed by Phillips, Bredeson, Powers, et al. This could get the job done.
