To those of you who appear to know NOTHING about football and the Denver Broncos, the Broncos are more than just one player away. The Defense needs a TON of work. The offense needs a legit RT as well as an additional Running Back. Drew needs a real chance to succeed or fail. No OTA’s, Covid, 2.5 BILLION injuries does not equate to an accurate environment to see exactly what Drew Lock can do. Just Chill the hell out and let’s see how 2021 plays out. Fangio is not a great coach. Pat Schurmur is a 1990’s OC. I think the Broncos will improve to 10 – 6 in 2021.

    “Denver will be 10-6 next year” hmmm definitely haven’t heard that the last 3 years. Give it up. Drew is bust and not the future. The reason we haven’t had qb success is because we draft qb’s late and only pick up mediocre qbs in free agency

    @Xevenbops even if Drew’s a bust you’ll never know unless you see. Josh Allen looked awful. Peyton wasnt really good. John elway had a lot of work to do. Not all QBs pop out and become Mahomes. That’s not realistic.

    @Tracy Guidry thing is fangio kept drew in when he bruised his ribs and that’s a big reason to why we got blown out. Fangio is poor with time management. Hes stubborn. I dont hate him bc i love what he does for defense but is he head coach material?

    @Lexsi Smith he’s been to NFC Championship but has more experience than Elway being 21 Years in The League as Opposed to 10 Years Elway got lucky with Manning and the No-Fly Zone But Paton is not of Bronco Way and sought us out he wont draft a tall white QB as with him playing in Teddy Bridgewater we could a Justin Fields Like QB in the Future

“Drew Lock is a slow learner.” At this level, there’s no time for slow learners. Broncos are going to waste 3-5 years sticking with Lock. Get rid of the 31st ranked QB NOW. If he improves, it won’t be by much, he may improve to the 20-12th best QB at his best. Average. Broncos aren’t going anywhere with Lock, bet!

    you calling for his job just keeps the carousel spinning it will be 10 qbs since peyton. we need to stop calling for each qbs job after one season. if he doesn’t pan out then he doesn’t pan out, and we have a prime pick in 22, but i think he will pan out and be the answer.

    I completely agree. We are wasting time with this talented roster waiting for him to develop. We improved statistically on every position except QB. That is or problem. Before you know it we could potentially lose Sutton or Juedy or Chubb. We can’t afford all of them. And for those who like to cite Josh Allen for example. Josh Allen lead his team in a Tom Brady division to the playoffs. 20 td with 10 ints. Far from last QB in the league. If you want to cite Elway. Elway was BENCHED for his performance. Drew Lock has not earned the right to start under center. He must fight for it or if we have a chance to upgrade take it. It will save us decades of problems and sadness. Deshawn Watson potentially will give us 10 plus years. Why ruin that opportunity. It will save us from 10 plus years of suffering. We are already @ 5 years. Give up 3 first rounds plus that is only 3 years. Its well worth the risk

    @crock go after Deshawn Watson at all cost. If not him Dak Prescott. If not move up and get Trevor Lawrence. Once in a lifetime ability. . if We arent willing to risk that much go after Marcus Mariota.. QB is everything. See what Tom Brady did to Tampa Bay. Look at what Peyton Manning did for us. We dont want to go down that Qb purgatory road. Its a nightmare. Look what it is doing to us now 5 years in. Might as well get a sure thing now than wait and hope 10 years later

    @sweN ok, there is no way in a million years that the jags give up the number one pick. and are you ok with getting deshaun if it costs, 3 first rounders, jerry jeudy, bradley chubb, and alexander johnson? that is gonna be the asking price for a prime qb. the cowboys will retain prescott, so no point in even mentioning him. mariota is still under contract on the raiders. yes the qb is the most important position, that’s why we need to give it time. everyone just wants instant success, and that’s not how it works.

    @DBfan116 Favorites mean nothing. Watson has already stated he has no interest in Denver. The QB carousel was created by Elway with his win now mentality and we know how that turned out. George is obviously a smart guy and knows the teams abilities and cap space is a big factor. I suppose everyone will be wanting Rodgers next if he becomes available. Bottom line is we need to stick with what we got.

    @DBfan116 You have a really dismal opinion of Lock and i wonder why. He has had 2 different OC’s and never really had a chance to learn a system. The problem with revolving door win now Elway management. Give him another year with a consistent staff and you might be surprised at the progress.

I believe he going to take a big step forward next year he has the tape on every play he missed every bad throw every dropped throw every open player he missed it will be same plays different wrinkle on it so I don’t see how he doesn’t excel next year if he is working with a footwork Coach that’s a massive improvement but I feel he needs to sit with Peyton just to scan the field better

Stick with lock. Changing qbs every 2 yrs hasn’t worked. If there were ever such a thing as a mulligan year its covid year with a new OC and a bunch of rookies and your top target hurt for year. Listen. The second time we played the chargers Herbert did not look the same without Keenan Allen. Thats what a veteran #1 target looks like. Especially if he has already bathed in the system. Lock didn’t have that. His only vet was tim patrick and technically the offense was new to him too. Yea the stat lines looks bad for the qb and he did alot of dumb stuff but there are also other things that polished recievers coulda done to make his stats look better. Not dropping passes (TDs & critical conversion plays particularly). Being in the right spot at the right time. Everytime we see an errant throw we swear the qb got it wrong sometimes its the rookie wr who didn’t run the right route. Etc. He will never be watson or mahommes. But generational talent qbs are not required to win a superbowl. A solid team is. And if u trade 3 first picks 2 seconds and 2 defensive starters to replace just one position. U will be reeling for the next 3 years imo. But hey … at least your qb will put up numbers like he did in Houston to no avail.

I think the new GM did a great job his decision seems to portray Good sense of reality. Give Lock the opportunity to fix his flaws once he does that he’ll be a great quarterback for the Broncos.
