@Howard Strike He has BEEN released now . But , the Chargers DO NOT throw deep down field & he’s way to SMALL to take screen / swing passes around the line , it would just get him killed ! Just amazed on HOW we throw so MANY long passes with a far worst OL last year ? OR is our OL just as bad this year ? LS of the OL has been good , now form center to all of the RS of the line , it’s not been good or down right bad ?

Exactly…Lombardi better make better play calls….right side of the line is a huge issue and needs to be addressed…and Herbert needs to get back to his early season form with his accuracy. Now our run defense is a different story even though I think it may get slightly better with Jones being back. And our pass defense is just fine these guys just need to get back to putting it all together again. No reason we can’t finish 13-4 or 12-5.

No, it seems our OC [ JOE } is getting out coached in the last couple of games to me ! 1 trick pony & the NFL has known this way back to his Loins days . Just think 10 [ MORE ] weeks of these great OC play calling .

Its also the playcalling, with the injuries and inexperience these past 5 weeks from on the O-Line I still dont know why they went away from what was making them successful. In back to back games you hardly see passing plays where Herbert has any checkdowns available, so teams are able to double team our best wide recievers as the Ravens and Patriots did all game. This doesn’t open the field and caused Herbert to scramble alot because of constant pressure. Herbert was limited to taking a sack, throwing the ball away or throwing into tight windows. The offense has become so predictable lately and when the Chargers had the lead and the run game was being successful, Lombardi decided to go away from that.

@Dan Sal I think they abandoned the long ball for quicker dink n dunk plays because the coaching doesn’t trust the blocking. Two games ago we could do it, even with Storm Norton as RT, but once guard Aboushi went down for the season now that right side is compromised

How about having Justin take some long snaps 😉 instead of always playing under center, at Oregon he never played under center

@Nick Semerikoff unfortunately he has been struggling when in the shotgun, though the pressure hasn’t helped but he has reverted back to not setting his feet when in shotgun which is why they are not having him in that formation as much.

Such a doomer. We get out coached by the greatest coach of all time, and you’re ready to call the season. You forget that we have been pretty talented teams this season, and the schedule only gets lighter. Have some **** faith.

@Jake Black He [Joe ] got OUT classed VRS the Ravens & he [ JOE ] had 2 weeks for Bill’s team ? Maybe you & the others that can’t see , NEED to start putting the Blame , were it NEEDS to go ? The Ducks did the same play calling sh#t , when Justin was there , tied his hands ? Draft time , they WERE calling him a bust ? Why . They [DIDN”T ] use his talents the correct way ? This team was much WORST in most parts last year, BUT, the deep pass ? So, why are we just out right sucking at it this year & still have a TON of 3rd and longs coming up ! Running was great , with OVER 150 yards & our Kicker made all of his kicks a [ RECORD } , but they still lost by 3 points , oh, just like last year ? Playing like this, NO way this team is winning 10 games , play offs , play offs , your taking about play offs , sorry Jim , I just had to use your classic lines here !

Sorry , but, to me , Allen is having a DOWN year ! Way to many dropped passes all this year so far & bad flags , early on .

100 % agree & they got NO help for them , either ! I guess they will NEED that $ 12 mill for that NEW building ? I wonder how much of the $ 70 + mill of next year they’ll be using too ? But , at least they will look GOOD losing ….LOL
