If Ryan was the QB, Pitts and London would be among league leaders in yards.

    Jason L

@C Hunts that could probably more aptly attributed to Matt Ryan being weak as balls in the RedZone

    Erika Edwards

And we would still be losing js.

    AlanShirtsink

And they would be 2 and 7

    Kenjie Davis

Last year, we had NO RUN GAME. Matt being a better passer than Mariota could shine beneath the 20s because you can space defenses out more. But when you get in the red zone, the field collapses and it is harder to throw the ball especially when you have NO RUN GAME. Defenses dropped more people in coverage against us because they didn’t expect us to run. With this year’s run game, a better passer (Matt Ryan) would fair better than Mariota, just off being able to hit the deep ball more accurately alone.

    Brian Cabatu

If Ryan was our qb, we’d be 1-8. He’d be leading the NFL on getting sacked.

Falcons Daily

If we still had Julio and Ryan we would be good

    Keyvo

Your insane if you think that

    Kenjie Davis

If we had them in their prime. Maybe Matt with the way the o-line and run game has been playing, but today’s Julio won’t even see the field.

Learn from ur mistakes

LONDON LOST FUMBLE

GRAHAM DROPPED FUMBLE

HOLD ON TO THE BALL

koo missed 50 yard fg

MARIOTA CANT hit deep passess

PITTS DROPPED PASSESS

Should of ran on the Last drive

CLEAN THAT UP
AND SWEEP THE PUSSYCATS ON THURSDAY

START RIDDER

FIX THE PASS DEFENSE
STOP LETTING WR GET OPEN

    K Greene

I was right there with you till you mentioned Ridder. It’s not happening. The line can’t pass block and we run hilariously too much to even consider the difference a QB would make. We on avg pass the ball maybe 15-18 times a game. And that doesn’t mean we are completing anything.

    Louis Curtis

That fumble hurt us big time all he needed to is go down or run out of bounds

    AlanShirtsink

Everything real but Ridder. I guarantee you he ain’t anywhere close to ready. Look at TN and the Steelers. It ain’t easy to play QB in the league

Cameron Cisero

Man y’all are too nice but it’s your jobs so

William Amey

That was one of the worst game in 2022 the had to many opportunities to win this game

K Greene

Just need TQG to land on the ball in a situation like that. I’m not mad at him trying to make a play. However the offense only needed a handful of plays with the timeouts left. Either way I’m proud of this team and still support the franchise. Falcons till I die.

JoshThaChosen1

Marcus Mariota sucks point blank period we need to bench him and give ridder a chance at this point in the season

    Keyvo

No we don’t you don’t watch the game if you think he sucks one throw to pitts he dropped other one pitts got held in the end zone no call then the last post Kyle went towards the sideline instead of straightening the post up simple miscommunication. He gives us the best chance to win right now. Defense is the main problem we can’t stop anyone on 3rd Ik our two best dbs are injured rn so we will see

    Gear5Corey

@Keyvo what the same defense that held the chargers to 6pts in the second half, the same defense that caused two turnovers in pivotal moments. The same defense that held a top 5 qb to 1 passing td off 43 attempts. Make it make sense. Mariota get more excuses than any other player. Pitts literally had the entire secondary beat twice and got overthrown. Yea pitts dropped 1 pass, but he is also has one of the lowest drop rates in the nfl

    Kenjie Davis

Mariota can’t throw the deep ball. Our defense is not where we want it to be yet, but they only gave up 20 points. We had too many 3 & outs yesterday. Most of them were 2 pass to 1 run sequences. Mariota passing the ball was the main reason we lost to the Chargers.

    Darrell Bareng

Same old same old. What planet are you from?

j s

How are y’all not saying that Mariota needs to be BENCHED! Let’s see if Ridder is the guy for the FUTURE! Let’s speak the TRUTH!

    Heaven11

Because we aren’t dumbasses , ridder would have us with a losing record , 3rd round game manager w no experience in the nfl in the worst qb draft class in the past years. He isn’t mahomes

@Steveefree

They need to get Mariota out of the pocket sometimes like Mahomes did yesterday. Let the receivers and the qb feel the game and not robotic in just route running. Squirt a RB out of the backfield like Eckler also Tom Brady does this too. He needs to have a possession receiver he can count on to catch and run the routes correctly.

    Heaven11

    Squirt 😂

Gear5Corey

Imagine not being able to get your best pass catchers the ball, imagine being within 5yds of the endzone not running a backside fade or run the ball but do a bubble route, imagine having some of the moret time in the pocket but cant get a wideopen pitts the ball. Mariota is booty, the playcalling needs to not be so suttborn and adjust to WHAT THE OPPOSING TEAM IS Giving you.

Heaven11

Y’all never hold Pitts accountable lol y’all just blame the qb right away, Pitts dropped 2 passes one being a deep ball, Mariota had some miss throws but I feel that’s every nfl qb nobody is perfect. If Pitts runs full speed he catches that TD and we win. But y’all ain’t ready for that convo

    Tannor Edney

It’s just miscommunication on both sides

    AlanShirtsink

That really happened. The whole offense goes in and out of sync. Give them time to gel and they will be unstoppable

Samuel Davis

The Falcons play dummy ball.

    RazorStrap

Falcons play dumb bend don’t break defense. Stupidity supreme.

ROTTIE RAY

Falcons are still the dark horse playoff team! #BEATPANTHERS

RazorStrap

When will Dean Pees realize that bend don’t break is a loser’s defense strategy.
Field position is paramount in a running game.

    AlanShirtsink

Can’t you see they don’t have the personnel. When they do build it up, Pees is a master

    RazorStrap

@AlanShirtsink Yes I see the personal issue. Training them to play BDB maintains their skill level status quo instead of improving.

RazorStrap

Missed 50yrd FG’s happen from time to time even with the best. Those are not automatic.
