Firing Lamebardi that’s how they bounce back. After that TD in the first quarters then a 10-3 lead.. Lamebardi, as usual, got predictable and let his foot off the gas. This what Lamebardi does he gets up by 3 and then relies in defense to hold a 3 point lead instead of putting points up. Injuries are no longer an excuse, no excuse.
At the goal line and you throw it? Are you kidding me? 5-4 dropping to 5-5 because Lamebardi is incompetent and Staley is an inexperienced motivational speaker that got lucky ND became a coach. He relies soley on analytics.
You can even look at Herbert’s face and see he his done with Lombardis playcalling and he needs to take over and not play scared. For some reason… Chargers play scared

Huh? Most everyone is out for the year with some questionable. Allen took 2x as long to get over his minor injury. Why are Chargers players so skilled, yet so soft? So, you think when the Chargers get to 6-11 and finally get some players back, they’ll be solid?
There is nothing that can be changed to turn it around. We did nothing at the deadline and left Herbert to throw to practice squad players and have joe Lombardi still play call the most conservative play book in the NFL. I think he thinks we have the ‘85 bears defense on the other side must be a miscommunication that needs to be relayed to him
TT drafted a safety who has trouble tackling when there were other safety’s available at the time who have already shown promise in the NFL. I can’t even keep track of how many rb’s he has drafted that haven’t worked out. And it seems like some of the players he hasn’t resigned have worked out better with their new teams. The Chargers will probably be looking to draft another safety next season. I am a fan of Zion J but was very surprised they didn’t draft Mcduffie who the Chiefs traded up for. One could argue that the Chargers just aren’t a well run organization and I think a lot of fans like myself still wish they were back in San Diego instead of La La land.
@Dan Deitch exactly who could forget passing on JJ Watt when everyone projected chargers to draft and they picked up I think Corey Legiet 🤣 and RBs your right I think since they got lucky with LT, Darren Sproles and Michael Turner all of the undrafted RB have outperformed the drafted ones lol
I blame the HC for not doing his job.He is to over look the oc plays to fit his side of the ball. He has the last say and hes let the oc hold #10 back since they got there.
We have to have the head coach do his job and take over oc call playing would heip or have him fix it instead of letting it keep houng on with the oc play calls that don’t work
Chargers fans can blame Staley and Lombardi all they want but it was Telasco who hired Staley who then wanted Lombardi. It’s an easy domino effect to see!

How we bounce Back Fire Lombardi. fined a fast WR for Herbert. the play calls are so predictable don’t waste Herberts career
Here’s a rebound for a better start: fire lombardi, and hire someone who not call passes between -5 to 6 yard passes, and get rid of those shitty screens,curls,flats,wheels etc. More play action deep passes with cross routes. Staley also suck with his soft zones….
Exactly you can play call better than weak lombardi.
Other teams let go of coaches even last week
I know the talk was gonna be the injuries but the drops is what caused this loss. Drop for a TD and drops for first downs is hard to come back from

@No Name Well injuries DID play a part in that as well because the pass catching tightend went down and the #2 tightend went down and the only one left was a blocking tightend. He is not good at catching the ball thats not his role on this team nore was it in college. It was DEFINITELY injuries.
It’s CRIMINAL to not go get any weapons for Herbert. Like cmon…… that first drive showed he still has phenomenal velocity on his throws and if we’d have had Keenan and Mike and Guyton this season it’d have been so so different

The success of an NFL team is not just selecting players who are great players but drafting great players who can stay healthy.
The Chargers don’t seek out players with a history of injury. It might be more important to look at their conditioning, and recovery program and maybe team nutrition. Also, there is a link to more injuries on AstroTurf over the more forgiving grass. Maybe the organization should switch to grass in SoFi stadium.

NOT happy with Lombardi play calling in the second half. When the opponent makes adjustments (as they always do), he restricts the offense to a simple conservative shell of itself.
Might as well go down shooting they lost anyway with that short game weak Lombardi play calling. Let Herbert let loose and Shoot!

Disregarding the Chargers front office turning a blind eye to the injuries, I’m honestly dumbfounded with how we are 5-4. J-Herbo is out there throwing dimes to practice guys and we still have a winning record. Just imagine if we could actually stay healthy… #⚡️🆙

Chargers are tied for 2nd in the NFL for dropped passes along with Green Bay at 17. Crazy how even with 2 starters banged up they didn’t go and get a WR. And I called it that they should’ve got a DL too now with them cuts and everyone hurt
There is no turning it around when we have a scared play caller that doesn’t call plays to throw the ball down the field past 10 yards. We have guys that couldn’t catch a cold in the winter. We should be trying to sign Odell since Keenan doesn’t want to play. We’re banged up on every phase.
