Easily the Eagles’ toughest game of the year so far. Cowboys have been their bogey team the last 6-7 years, Eagles and especially Hurts need to get this big win over the Cowboys to get over it. Cowboys are in a no lose situation. If they lose, they can point to a backup QB starting, and if they win then that’s even better. All the pressure is on the Eagles and this will really say everything we need to know about how “real” they are this year. Cowboys defense is going to be by far and away the toughest defense they face, let’s see how they react. Also, eagles need to win this to basically run away with the division because the schedule is fairly easy and they’ll need 3 losses and Cowboys to stay undefeated for the Cowboys to overtake them. But the Birds didn’t have Hurts, Slim Reaper, AJ Brown, Goedert, Sanders, Quez, Scott, Mailata, Dickerson, Kelce, Seumalo, and Johnson together on the team the last 6-7 yerars.
They didn’t have Cox, Reddick, Sweat, Graham, Davis, Williams, CGJ, Maddox, Edwards, Bradberry, Hargrave, Dean, White together on the team the last 6-7 years.

Anyways, that’s not my point. I didnt say Cowboys will win, although i do think they will. When one team “dominates” another for years, it doesnt matter who the players are, there just exists a psychological edge. Eagles need to win Sunday. ALL the pressure is on Eagles. Cowboys come in with none.

The main matchup is Eagles o-line vs Dallas d-line. But why isn’t Eagles d-line getting any credit??? they’re like a top 5 unit in the league too!!
I see Dallas as the #3 defense and Philly as #6 when it comes to points allowed. Dallas has had a way tougher schedule than Philly. Dallas pulled Tampa, both Super bowl teams and the Giants already. Who has Philly played that is good? The Vikings who really haven’t played anyone good either? Is it possible Dallas once again gets run over by Jalen Hurts? Yes. Is it way less likely this year? Yes.

Eagles are gonna be like the cowboys last year, play easy teams, get a good record to make it to the playoffs, play a decent team in the playoffs and lose. Their schedule isn’t setting them up for the long term success.
Nakobe Dean has been on the field for about three defensive plays. The Eagles are tough up front but I’d prefer if these folks were better prepped.
