We can learn by getting rid of Staley and Lombardi. They are wasting Herbert’s talents. Wish Sean Payton or someone proven could come in. Herbert could take his game to another level.

    Hagop

@Robert D.he ain’t gonna be calling plays if Payton comes. The playbook will be similar but the play caller changes which is the main problem. A vet coach is what we need. Payton has always been successful. Won’t change with Herbo.

    David

Sean Payton or Jim Harbaugh 🤞🏼

    Jo Shimizu II

As long as Joe Lombardi is gone idc what happens. HE IS PREDICTABLE AND TIMID. CANT WIN GAMES WITH A SCARED PLAY CALLING.

    Tammer Mashni

We need to hire Philip rivers

    Tammer Mashni

@David  I’d go with Philip rivers ..he’d demand respect with chargers players being him , LT , Seau, gates are the faces of the club

Appreciate the work you all put into producing these videos for us frustrated fans. It’s tough to produce optimistic content with the up and down season that we’re having.

Andrew Kellogg

Games are won or lost in the trenches. Right now our trenches are depleted….case in point. We can’t stop the run, and we can’t stop the pass rush. Period.

    Martin

But we are able to rest our offense in the 3rd quarter since they’re not on the field that much.

Martin

I told my wife a few weeks ago that I see us going 8-9. Back then I told her we will lose to the Seahawks, 49ers, Raiders, Dolphins and Titans. We’ll beat the Colts, lose to the Rams (though also depleted), and beat the Broncos. So far my predictions have been right on target. We will make the Dolphins’ running game look good, but they will pass on us too. I don’t think the game will be close. The Titans will run us out of the stadium. Colts’ game will be close but we’ll close it out in the last few minutes. The Rams will somehow muster a win and defeat little brother. And though we’ll beat the Broncos, it will be a super close game. One thing we know, the Chargers have not blown out anybody this year. We’ve been blown out a couple of times but we never return the favor. Plus, the offense might as well sit out the 3rd quarter since they don’t score in that quarter anyway. I so wished we had the same team on offense and defense that we had last year. At least then, I feel like we would have had a chance! Let’s see, how much money did we throw away in the off season? I felt from the very beginning, we paid way too much for J.C. Jackson. The only trade I feel good about is Mack. Hopefully, next year, we’ll have better coaching on both sides of the ball…Of course new ownership would be super helpful…just saying…Week after week, I hear the same pre-recording from the Chargers’ coach…”Well, we’ll have to tackle better…” Instead of talking about it after each game…let’s just do it!

Yesterday was the game we could had saved our season. Even so, this team played so bad they don’t need to go to the playoffs. If you can’t hang with the Raiders you aren’t going to hang with anyone in the AFC playoff’s period.

Dane Peterson

I disagree Chris. I do think the fans and collective world’s “tiredness” from the season can and does have an impact on this team. You cant hide from the news and social media these days. Therefor when the collective energy from fans, reporters, networks drops the players and organization feel it. There is no denying or ignoring the outside “noise” in this day and age.

Anthonie Weyland

One more L that’s our season – way too many good teams in the AFC looking for that wildcard.

_Injury’s are partially a consequence of being out of shape ! Fire that strength and conditioning coach !_ ⚡🆙

    R C

When LT left for the NYJ he had an interview with Deion Sanders and he asked what did he find different with the NYJ. LT said, “practice is definitely harder and more physical but he found that it allows the players to be more prepared and conditioned on game day.”

    Travey

Every fucking team in the NFL has injuries, some have many more injured that the Chargers, raiders had many starters out and go down… it’s the NFL the next man up has to be NFL caliber pf they will get embarrassed by Crosby and Jones

    TheLyricsGuy

@Travey No team has a lower BUS score than the Chargers. They are the most injured team in the NFL.

Wustin Werbert

I know we can beat the Dolphins! I’m ride or die until we are mathematically eliminated. Bolt up ⚡️

    Dario Cazares

Believe me dude I am always optimistic, but unless Herbert turns into Peyton Manning and starts changing the plays on the fly before snap then we are toast😢

    Wustin Werbert

@Dario Cazares Ek can’t be fumbling the ball tho

R C

When LT left for the NYJ he had an interview with Deion Sanders and he asked what did he find different with the NYJ. LT said, “practice is definitely harder and more physical but he found that it allows the players to be more prepared and conditioned on game day.” That statement alone tells you the quality of preparation this team receives and it probably hasn’t evolved since LT left. Practice is too soft!! Which is why there are always injuries every year and why the defense can’t create pressure through wet toilet paper and why the O-line isn’t physical enough to sustain a block for more than 1 sec. This team is a finesse team that relies on things going right. If it aint’ right, they’re getting beat. A physical team makes things right.

Spacetrooper

Hebert legit can’t even set his feet to throw with how fast our o line is collapsing

Max Hutchinson

The NFL caught up to what Staley was doing with the Rams before he coached one game for the chargers. He was fools gold. He needed the best interior defensive lineman in the history of the game and the best cornerback in football to be a good coach.

    R C

Exactly. I like Staley as a person but I never bought into the ‘defensive guru’ narrative. Here’s why: he had an unstoppable AD up front and Ramsey which made that defense work. Also, the Rams had a cupcake schedule that year against the worst NFC East who had a 7-9 WFT division winner and a bad AFC East that only had BUF as the only good team. The Rams were also swept that year by the 49ers who finished 7-9. I’ve been saying this since last year that his defense might be overcomplicating things which is probably why JC Jackson struggled.

if missing the post-season means the departure of Telesco/Staley/Lombardi, then I’m all for it.

    Dario Cazares

And Spanos, the whole fling crew😂🎉

    ElAbes

Imagine having people who comment like this in the chargers locker room nobody would want to play with y’all or coach y’all, remember we are the most injured team in the NFL and are still playoff bound support your team regardless of how you feel or you could be a Texans fan

Steven Aguirre

My question is, why does the NFL keep flexing the Chargers game to prime time? Are they intentionally trying to embarrass us?

    Toxic Kids

Because we are a playoff team

    Plumkin Horres

Lol at least our games are exciting and interesting. Even though Radiers clearly beat the breaks off of us last week it seems like. We had multiple possessions at the end to close it out. Same with Chiefs and Niners. W JHerbo, anything is possible. Just look at last week throw to KAllen 😂😆 if Carter made that tight catch on a perfect throw from Herbo on the sidelines we may be talking a little different. Can’t ask more from Herbo on keeping the games close

BroncanoMix2

WHAT!? Teams are starting to figure out Chargers don’t have a run defense!? Are you kidding!? Didn’t teams figure this out 2 years ago!?

Jason Lucero

Step 1: get a new offensive coordinator

Wheelie

I know she’s joking but like, “launch the third quarter into the sun!” Wtf where’s the accountability? I know you’re employees of the team but freaking MENTION that the team is unprepared EACH AND EVERY WEEK!! Not ONE convincing win all season. Every win has been a lucky play or a Herbert god-mode throw. Cmon guys. FANS ARENT STUPID. We need these coaches GONE. And better not be another cheap, first-timer to replace him.

beneathdatrees0

Chargers most likely will beat the Colts, Rams, and Broncos. A win against the Dolphins and/or Titans would be a major upset(s)!

Michael Cunningham

I don’t understand why Kenneth Murray is still on the field. He missed so many tackles against the Raiders. It is a theme that we have seen repeatedly throughout the past year and a half. Reeder looks much better in coverage and at run stopping

LEGION 13

Pathetic that the Chargers organization are promoting Rivers when they let him go to take another team to the playoffs 😂

Alan

Is anyone going to to mention how our offensive line had no respect for Herbert?!?
Who is responsible for protecting Herbert??? Protect our QB!!! Its a huge failure from Staley. If it continues hes a liability to BOLTS
