Herbert is too good for Lombardi’s offensive play call! One of them is got to go next season!

    chauncey williams

Herbert should not resign with the Chargers. That is if he wants to win a SB.

Kelly Abrams

@kj agreed. Plus, They have zero ROI on the money they spent as well. Maybe that will come later. They are currently in the exact same position as they were last year defensively.

    Collin Reilly

Only roi they got is from mack sjd and jk scott other then that no bueno

Adam Marshall

As a Chiefs fan I’m here to say this; Herbert does not deserve Lombardi or even Staley. Fire both of em and hire some competent coaches next season. I’m looking squarely at a former head coach for the Saints.

Amir Abdullah

It’s simple the team isn’t what it’s cracked up to be because the lack of depth. Questions arise about defensive play calling , offensive play calling . These games aren’t about the Chargers opponents it’s about themselves. Historically the team fails , so after 50 years , 50 years of failing to bring home a championship something has to happen. Those of us who’ve been with the team since the merger it’s not just frustrating. The Chocking on a coaching level should make the players feel like something is wrong. We’re tired of being called idiots for following a franchise that’s always sabotaging itself. All the players who make a difference are hurt. It’s inexcusable.

Frank Lewis

Defensive minded coach, can’t stop the run. Defensive minded coach, still can’t get offense off the field. Spent all this money on defense, can’t turn the ball over enough. It’s supposed to be your specialty but yet any offense walks all over us. Done. Hire a offensive minded coach who has situational awareness. Preferably someone with head coach experience or at the very least OC experience.

    azma775

Bro he couldn’t somehow at least held them to a field goal 🤯 he’s trash I’m over him

    resonate4fe

This HC like the previous 2 will end up being assistants to an assistant somewhere else after they get their pink slip, because apparently no one would have hired them as a HC in the first place except the Chargers.

    Timothy Emerson

    One word: injuries.

    Timothy Emerson

Offense performed. Injuries on defensive line. Great frickin game. Nail biter. Sucks Bolts lost but defense lost the game with the holes on the line. They gave Pacheco everything opportunity to run.

    Timothy Emerson

Y’all really liked Staley when he built the defense before game 1 but when you get a couple bad card deals and lose many of your key players to injuries all of a sudden EVERYTHING is Brandon Staley’s fault. OK, one time… JOEY BOSA ISN’T PLAYING! HIS REPLACEMENT IS HURT! Their massive double corner threat is cut in half with Van Noy playing Joey’s spot. 3 freaking points. Its not coaching here. Its injuries.

Chris Bolt

“the blueprint to beat this team remains tbd” I think not giving up third and longs at a 50% clip and scoring more than 7 points in the second half is a good start.

    Ablovore

There were gaps in the roster at the beginning of the season, and there are gaping holes in it now. This team is top heavy, out of balance, no depth, it’s painful to watch, esp as our premium players slowly disintegrate. They are overloaded and eventually get exposed, like Derwin, and Staley, grasping at straws in Reid’s wake….then there’s Dicker, carving it up!

    Chris Bolt

@Ablovore The biggest gaps they didn’t address were really just a faster wide receiver and possibly a right tackle. Id say the team was constructed well enough to compete with a team like the chiefs, which we saw in week two and Sunday night. But the coach staff is totally incapable of making second half changes.

Tincan53

The Cardinals could stay home and not show up end the Bolts will still lose. Defense let them down.

Ride The Lightning

Back-to-back SNF losses who cares?5-5 who cares? With all the injuries who cares? We need wins against the Cardinals, Colts, Raiders, Rams, and Broncos. Just get in the tournament, and anything can happen. I believe Hayley would agree with me. God bless our Chargers.

    Collin Reilly

    And the fins

Rocky The Hooligan

Its kind of ironic that this show is called The Final Drive because thats exactly what the team needs to focus on to win 🤦🏽⚡⚡ if they go 6-1 we got a chance

    Adam Akemon

They gonna finish 9-8 again sadly

Grow My Presence

Firing Lombardi, and hiring a better oc… also hire vic fangio for DC because obviously Staley doesn’t have the skills to adjust.

G S

Here’s the adjustment they need to make; fire Lombardi now and Staley this off season. Oh yea, sell the team to someone who cares about winning.

Whitenacho

They gave us a bit of optimism at the start of the season even though the point spreads were pathetic. Then like every season injuries plague the team. And we begin to see that classic Charger second half choke and end another season at 500 or less.

Jeff Young

The last Chiefs drive…it looked like the Chargers had no idea of what they were supposed to do.

    chauncey williams

They dropped 8 and played coverage. Someday someone is going to figure out. Bend don’t break defenses do not work.

hokieduck

OMG. Give it a break from the doom and gloom!

The Bolts are 100% in the Wild Card race. And every day that goes by, gives another torn groin more chance to heal.

They have the easiest SOS between the 4 teams ahead of them (Bills, Jets, NE, Bengals). Bengals have the hardest SOS and the three AFC East teams will cannibalize themselves. But the fat has been skimmed off this carton of milk. Seven games. Must win five. Dolphins, Titans are the toughest. Winnable as in “should win” games: Cardinals, Raiders – (Fins/Tit’s)- Colts, Rams, Broncos. This takes the Bolts into the tourney with TEN WINS. This is VERY DOABLE … if not, they are not a playoff caliber team.

#GoBolts

Gary Roberts

They loaded up on players last off-season now they must load up on competent coaches.

    Bolt City Breakers

Without Staley we wouldn’t have those players

Zanky Yanky

Chargers team is really good they just need receivers who are not injury prones and a defense who is atleast in top 15..they shouod trade for jordy forston or noah gray they need a good TE too

Collin Reilly

Herbert was sacked 5 times hit more then 10 the most in 1 game in his career unacceptable

Eliezar's Awesome Channel

Spent a lot of time in KC. Diehard Chiefs fan. But I can see how Hayley could get a lot of eyeballs on the Chargers.

Martin Cliffe

Surprised more hasn’t been said about how bad Feiler was in that game. Seemed like the weak link on the line whenever KC broke through. There were other issues and mistakes, and Lombardi should be on thin ice, but there were hopeful signs too. Fingers crossed we can pull up to regain a wild card spot.

Taylor Quiroz

What exactly is there to be excited for with this team this year 🤔
