NYG are now 7-2 on the season. The big 3 Jones, Barkley and Slayton were on display today. Good to see Barkley back healthy and putting up huge numbers. The NFC East is once again turning into a warzone. Congrats on the win NYG 💪.

This Giants have been a pleasant surprise to all who picked them to be last in the NFC East. Daboll is my coach of the year with the way he turned around this franchise

Never thought I would see the Giants be 7-2 right now, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t impressed by the fact. Jones and Barkley are killing it!
@diamond master s Knock it off. In the same Seattle game you referenced prior to the fumble the giants punted on 6/9 of the offensive possessions. The only touchdown came when they were given a short field after a turnover. Never said jones was the sole reason the Giants offense struggles he is part of the problem. He will not be the Giants QB next year just some of the wide recicevers will be replaced also. The offense is inept and the QB is part of the problem. Good thing the defense really well or it would’ve been a blow out. Seattle was smart. Dare the giants to throw the ball. They won. Knock it off.

@Pasta Knock it off. You have to buld on this year. Sustained success is the goal. Ascension is the goal. As a Giants fan Superbowl wins are the expectation. The factors preventing the Giants from achieving these goals needs to be addressed.
Daniel Jones, once again, played really freaking good!
Ever since that interception vs Tennessee, he’s been an above average QB at worst and a top 10 QB at best.
I don’t know if he’s our franchise QB long term, but it’s getting difficult to envision a scenario where he isn’t our starting QB for next year at least.

@Daniel Gunelius he’s top 10 in QBR right now. He throws a pick on 0.8% of his passes which is 2nd in the league behind only Tom Brady and leads the league in Game-Winning Drives. I’m not saying he’s definitely top 10, but there’s certainly an argument to be made this year that he’s in the vicinity.

Barkley was a bell cow today, slayton came up huge, Andrew Thomas is the best LT in football.
One of the biggest reasons why Jones has a top 10 qbr and Giants are 7-2. Hes been a God send for OL.
Thomas is PFF best rated player. guy’s a beast. He’s everything they thought they were getting w Flower.

Brian DaBoll has been missing this Giants mojo for years is nice to see them doing this again and I’m really glad as a fan we can return to the playoffs, 7-2 at the halfway mark no one thought we would even win seven games but we made it and we’re here, NFL RESPECT US
Maybe the nfl made the giants good after all those losing seasons. Seems fishy how them and the jets are this good. Maybe it’s coaching Maybe it’s a combo of things. Seems off.
As a Giants fan, with every win i’ve been saying “it wasn’t pretty but it’s a W. I’ll take it”. We all know the toughest part of our schedule is the second half. We made hay while the sun shone, now perhaps we can win on toikey day in dallas and steal one against the iggles. Anyways, it’s just nice to be playing meaningful games this late in the season for a change. Go Giants.

I don’t think anyone had the Giants at 7-2 this point in the season. Like the also surprising 8-1 Vikings they’ve been very good in the 4th Quarter this year.

Remeber when Judge ran a giveup play on 3rd down in a 1 possession game last year? Daboll is the best NYG coach since Tom, by a mile. Had to go through the triarchy of terrible Judge, Pat Shurmer, and McAdoo to get to him, though.

Let’s Go Giants!👍🤘 Even with an abnormal amount of injuries again some of them bizarre & accidental – think Bellinger & McKinney – we’ve been fighting every game. There are teams with more talent but give me teams like this that remind us of good to great Giants teams of the past who played as cohesive teams. These guys are nothing but grit & heart. We still need to improve the wideout situation. Daniel Jones & the passing attack are nonetheless slowyl improving as Slayton & Wan’Dale have stepped it up.
Now I’ve always been a big Sterling Shepard & Darius Slayton fan. Shepard is one of Jones’ favorite targets & he is a 3rd down machine & chain mover. His loss really highlighted his importance. He isn’t the tallest, biggest or fastest but he epitomizes this Giants team as he has savvy & grit. Slayton excelled in his rookie year when he actually had a decent offense to work in. Since then he has been mired like most of the team in a bad offensive scheme & bad coaching. Despite moving up & down the depth chart & not always consistent playing time, Slayton has always shown up & never complained. After we drafted Toney the talk was that Shepard &/or Slayton were expendable. What a godawful assumption & speculation. Toney for all his talent & charismatic smile just basically put himself in the doghouse in his bizarre Giants tenure. He had a clean slate with a new GM & Head Coach & from the start there was excitement here & we have been winning. For reasons unknown, Toney was disgruntled & got shipped off. Good riddance. Now back to Slayton who took a paycut to stay here – at the start of the year Slayton was arguably behind Golloday, Shepard, Toney & possibly Wan’Dale on the depth chart as our #4 or 5 receiver. Shepard got hurt which still stings. Golloday has yet to get going & is hurt. Toney got shipped off. Robinson got off to a slow start after his injury. Now for all their determination & grittiness, guys like Sills & James aren’t anything more than 4th or 5th receivers. Now Slayton isn’t a bonafide #1 receiver but he can be a nice #3 & is the perfect compliment to a healthy a productive unit of Golloday, Shepard & Robinson. Golloday is that big high point target & Shepard is the perfect possession & chain moving slot receiver with Robinson acting as a Swiss Army knife weapon. Slayton compliments all of these guys as he has decent size & great speed. He helps the entire offense & run game as he is a “take the top off the defense” receiver with his 4.3 speed. To think that Slayton was pushed down the depth chart & a candidate to be traded which many fans wanted. The only gripe against Slayton was too many drops which he has really fixed this year. And To think of where our passing game would be without him now just shows how underutilized, under appreciated & important he is to the offense & team. I really hope Shepard can stay a Giant because I would like Jones to have his favorite target back. I think a healthy Shepard & Golloday along with a more experienced Wan’Dale & rejuvenated Darius Slayton who are finally together on the field & better versed in the scheme could make the passing offense much more dynamic & explosive. Slayton is vital to the passing game & offense now & he he should continue to be. He has stepped it up when we needed him too & he’s always been a great teammate & solid citizen who never gripes or complains which is admirable considering the track record of many a receiver. He deserves to stay a Giant & a raise. He has built better chemistry with Jones & hasn’t had the dropsies like in years past. While Kadarius Toney might be a shiftier & more explosive athlete than Slayton I’ll take a happy, selfless & productive football player like Slayton over Toney 100% of the time. Keep Slayton & Shepard New York Giants!

Kudos to NYs front office/coaching staff for sticking it out w/ Jones and actually giving him time to mature and develop. Rate these days. These days it’s like if your QB doesn’t make the pro bowl by year 2, he’s a bust, ditch him a get another.
This is what patience and sticking to a good plan gets you. I like this Giants team
Yes many teams cycle through QBs while the team around them is not great or well-coached. Not a recipe for success.
