It’s gonna be hard to replace this guy in the leadership front. He helped built a culture here and was definitely a friend to all in the facility. It broke me when we traded him, but it had to be done since we added Robinson and are still gunning to re-sign Beckham.
Still, what a loss on the culture and vocal part.

Man I’m going to miss Robert Woods. I just hope we don’t regret this, especially if we don’t get OBJ to come back. Woods was such an explosive player, especially with him, Kupp, Jefferson and Higbee in the game. I mean, who would you not guard??
I don’t think you can regret getting rid of his contract. I think the regret starts when we extended him too early.

I try not to get too emotional over player transactions. Trades, free agency and releases have numbed me a bit to player comings and goings. Still, this one seems so personal. Woods personified what the rams have become. He came in as a FA, pretty unheralded with a contract I couldn’t believe he was given at the time. Slowly but surely he became one of my favorite players. As his stock rose, so did the rams. He was tough, durable and caught virtually everything thrown his way. A true pro. He’ll be missed but I hope his recovery goes well and he smashes it in Tennessee.

Woods is the definition of a modern rams player, the culture he brought, the leadership, and doing everything in between. He was part of the movement that made me happy to be a rams fan. Forever a ram

Man 2017 was just special with the turn around our franchise made and woods was a huge part of that. i just wished we had a season with woods kupp and obj on the same field

One my favorite football players ever seen him at Serra high school in cali since he was sophmore and then usc Trojan from 2010-2012 dude just knows how to ball and catch and block and Run after the catch all the above lol Would want him on my team any and every day of the week
