Great player but he like HA HA appear to be a FS playing SS since we have a amazing FS alreadyin E Jax :). I see he can cover well I just hope he can be physical enough to hold up and enforce the run as a SS.
Pagano likes to have hybrid safeties to disguise the coverage. Gipson has played mostly FS, but he is capable of playing in the box as well

Ok. I am happy the Bears got him, however, the pass plays were not good routes or the QB floated the passes. I still gave a thumbs up because he CAN CATCH!
But Gipson been a DOG SENSE HE BEEN IN THE LEAGUE…AND WITH HIM PLAYING STRONG SAFETY AND IN THE BOX CAUSE HE’S A GREAT TACKLER AS WELL EDDIE CAN GO BACK TO FREE SAFETY
