@M Squad idk we are the only fan base who seems to hate a good coach 🤷🏽‍♂️ every other fan base in the league understands how good Mike T is.

@John M is he a good coach though? Or was it that he had a QB that made his job easier? I’ve been saying this for years….Winning seasons are not .500 seasons. .500 is at best a mediocre season and shouldn’t be nothing to be excited about. Yet, it’s celebrated as if it is championships. Terrible in the post season is being celebrated as if they made it to the superbowl with the “at least we made it to the playoffs” In house hiring has done nothing but poison this team, player preparation is terrible, player discipline is terrible and play calling is terrible on both sides of the ball for the most part. This season is the introduction to the real ability of coach tomlin. You ever wonder why none of his players want to come back and join his coaching staff? They will go anywhere else but Pittsburgh.

@M Squad Hey I’m all for change I just know Tomlin is a great coach and I’m not gonna let this team and maybe 2 playoff blunders blind me from knowing that. But I sure hope the next HC for this team never loses a playoff game cause my lord this fan base will eat whoever that is alive.

@John M it’s not necessarily the playoff game losses. It’s the wasting of talent due to lack lustered coaching. Don’t get me wrong, tomlin has had some good moments there’s no argument there. But I also won’t turn a blind eye to everything that’s wrong because of a few good moments. There are more bad than good moments. Has he done some good things, sure he has. But I wouldn’t consider them to be Great either. He impressed me most when we lost Ben for the season and went 8-8. In all his years that season is the only season that I was shocked. I have been waiting for Ben to retire to see what kind of a coach he really is. Honestly this season is the realities of that. Question is, can he do what needs to be done to put this team on track? Matt Canada and Austin need to go at the end of the season. If that doesn’t happen then there’s your answer. Their abilities to adjust during the game is terrible and you cannot win that way in my opinion. What do you think tomlin should do? Serious question by the way. I like the convo lol

I honestly don’t know where to start, but what I am gonna say is that: the Bengals play a very good football game, they stayed poised and focused, so a win is a win, no matter how many times, you come back and say, if we did this or if we could’ve done that, I’m speechless 😶. for my Steelers, I hate to say this, God knows I do, but this’s it, we just can’t get it right, we put the final nail in the coffin today.

Emphasis on better schemes. Yes pickett was off all night but most of those scenarios when you go “THROW THE BALL!!” And he’s not and you wonder how it’s possible that no one was open, usually film breakdowns later in the week show that no one really was… even with some amount of better playcalling the scheme is still just not good.

I thought they were gonna stay stuck at 23 and I was like hey they score more than 20 points. The second quarter was a very strong quarter for them and that wide open TD was awesome. I’m happy they scored 30 and if the defense could’ve put baby face burrow in the dirt more, they could’ve won BUT I too am seeing the good in this and seeing the growing pains getting ironed out bit by bit. Calvin Austin will be back for us next season and him alone will absolutely create more explosion and deep passes. Dare I say that Canada and the offense may be starting to mesh a little bit. They still need to fix things but Pickett is a rookie so all good things will come with time, I just hope we don’t let the defense get old before we hoist another Lombardi trophy.

Bengals fan here, I wouldn’t call the Bengals better, these two teams appear to be equal in many ways. This game was so great to watch, and I’d say that even if my team lost.

@gageguy I agree, it was a great game. Our defense just couldn’t hold that offense down and honestly, I am super glad as a football fan in general that Cincinnati is no longer associated with the likes of Pac Man Jones and Vontaze Burfict and play hard, physical but more clean football.

Bengals will be sitting on the couch watching the Superbowl

Keep telling yourself that. But Bengals swept KC last year (one game being an AFC championship IN ARROWHEAD) swept Baltimore and beat Tennessee in the playoffs, Bills are looking shaky. Not saying it’s an easy schedule because it absolutely isn’t. But every single one of those games is winnable
