My only issue with the narrative about Wilson lighting it up at the end of the season is that we’ve heard the same thing about Geno, Petty and Darnold. Zach is miles ahead and I believe he’ll be great but I never liked hearing the “he did so well against teams in the final stretch”.
same but they also didn’t mince words last year on sny and within the jets media that zach was struggling. bart was bailing on zach and we’ll see if he does again. these guys aren’t forced into being totally biased which is nice for a change.
Jets Fans should worry if Flacco & White get more reps at some point. Until then, trust that the staff is doing the best they can with Zach and his development until proven otherwise. These guys were honest last year about zach struggling and will do the same if that happens…

Wilson bulking up should allow him to use his athletic ability more and run more often. He is a pretty good athlete

Very tough test out of the gate this year. “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” We’ll almost certainly get to see what happens to the plan when he’s punched in the mouth week one. I’m hoping for the best, but would consider 8-8 this year a positive.
