Melvin is really growing on me. I think I had a preconceived idea of him in my mind that made me not like him because he was a Charger and because I think Phil deserves to be paid and we are risking losing him by paying Melvin so much, and for 2 years. Phil has been better than Melvin every year he’s been in the league. But listening to Melvin and watching him I am really starting to get excited that he’s on our team. He knows he wasn’t necessarily welcomed with open arms by a lot of the community but he’s just put his head down and gone to work and tried to not cause any controversy. Respect. Can’t wait for that 1-2 punch.
