@Kingston Jones you’d rather play Cincinnati who have both a good offense & defense, than KC who has a bad defense. I would think of those 3 teams you’d want KC the most part especially since you are more familiar with them than either Cincy or Buffalo

@Mac180 I disagree. The Chargers matched up well with the Bengals last season. This season however, the statistics & splits don’t agree. Of the 3 teams I believe the Chargers matchup beat with KC. I don’t believe the Bengals or the Bills are a good matchup for LA

@Jah Uzumaki I get what you’re saying, but I believe depending on what Charger team we have out there, I think if we’re talking mid-season Bolts when we were injury-riddled then you’d be absolutely correct, especially based on the horrible losses we took while battered.
But we must remember this team was built this offseason to compete with the elite teams in the AFC, if we’re close to 85-90% heathly and Lombardi calls a decent game, I truly believe there’s no team that can beat us, especially if Herb is playing lights out. But, I think we all can agree, if we had a choice as to who we play first, the general consensus would be KC, just based on what they did to us this season. Sending them home would be the ultimate payback.

@Jah Uzumaki Plus the Bengals retained most of their key players from last season, and their Achilles heel will always be that OL. If we were matchup in the playoffs, and with Joey back, we could make things difficult for Burrow in the pocket. It would be a helluva game either way, wouldn’t be a runaway for either team…unless Lombardi calls one of his infamous 29 jet sweeps, 32 screens, and 12 HB Dives up the middle, with an obvious stick route on 3rd down type of game. Then it could get kinda ugly early 🤔🤔🤔

@Skii mask ent Oh you meant Dave? I dunno about him, but I always stick with my Bolts thru the good and bad. We should be use to the lows every season, it’s just who we are fundamentally. But as long as Herb is under center, we can compete with any great team when we’re playing real Charger football. Let’s just take care of business Monday, and see where the chips lay afterwards.
