I was wrong. I thought his accuracy was bad and he was inconsistent in college. Turns out it was Oregon that was the problem. He carried that team, and I failed to recognize that.

Brow Master I respect you good sir. Not too many people come out and say that when they are wrong. Chargers are very lucky indeed
LeGoat 2020champ I thought he lacked good touch in college and there would be games where he looked like a top five pick and then there would be games where he shouldn’t have been drafted in the 1st round. But I think the talent around him has allowed him to shine. But I always knew that he had a lot of raw talent, athleticism, and arm strength. He just needed to put it all together, and it seems like he did. Herbert was a high risk high reward pick and the Chargers seemed to hit on it.
Herbert’s a pretty underrated QB.
I really like what I’ve seen from Herbert so far in his young NFL career. It looks like the Chargers have found their QB of the future. He’s an exciting player to watch.

I knew he was going to be good if he got blessed with the right team. I’ve watched him play live many times and Oregon’s offense and WR’s made Herbert look worse than he was.
After seeing the combine I thought, “He’s good. Really athletic. He’ll probably be a little better than Kirk Cousins.”

That’s who I wanted the Dolphins to draft. With Tua’s injury situation he became my 2nd rated QB. He has all the PHYSICAL tools. Just got to work A LITTLE on the mental aspect of the game.

I’ve been laughing at the people who said he was gonna be bad all season. Legitimately wanted the Giants to draft him last year but he didn’t declare, and being on the chargers is a great fit for him

There are still fantasy football folks who are calling Herbert “trash” because his team has a losing record.
Watch the games. The Chargers have lots of talent, and Herbert is in that discussion. What we’re all wondering is what will happen if the coaches can bring it all together.
