    For months up until a few days ago I thought we were going to get swept by the Chiefs but I legitimately see us at least grabbing one win against them if our team is healthy. Their o-line is already affected from the covid situation and have perhaps their second best lineman opt the season out already. I just hope our team stays healthy.

    @David Patterson And you are woefully incorrect. Not because of your statement being wrong but your emphasis on it.

    Last year the Raiders were competitive in both matchups with the chiefs (one more so than the other). Yes Mahomes is an infinitely better QB than Carr. That said the Chiefs lost a lot this off season and did not do much to replace or improve. Whereas the Raiders improved vastly on both sides of the ball, and effectively plugged all the holes they had on defense.

    So if Mahomes did not absolutely dominate the raiders last year which he didnt, then with a vastly superior defense Mahomes effectiveness against the raiders D is going to drop like a stone. Whereas Carr may be a garbage QB BUT the Chiefs lost and didnt improve, so with that more robust raiders D it will take a lot more stress off of Carrs inadequate performance and can easily set up to beat the Chiefs at least once. Most likely At Allegiant.

    QB is an important position but the whole team situation is far more telling on how much success they will have.
