@Wash Redskin how many crucial drives the Heinicke bring his team back when he had his best weapons that’s leadership his teammates all trust him but it’s sad when the coach don’t call proper plays 1st and goal 5 yards out and he calls 4 consecutive pass plays absolutely no runner plays no sprint outs or roll outs and all called under center how in hell do you expect to win games all that time in Carolina and no winning record river sinking boat Ron was below 500 when your program gets out dated by young coaches who’s better you need get yourself a coach who understands these young players and develop them this organization just don’t get it

Loved when Coach Rivera stated he had spoken to coaches who he personally knows on both the Eagles & Colts that spoke differently then what reports are saying… and the 2 team captains that speaks volumes… at the end of the day we as fans can only believe to a degree what we hear but we also need to know that a lot if not the majority of reporters and ppl in such positions tend to use their own opinions (or feelings) as facts and then report it as facts… and anyone who watched this team last season long enough can’t deny that w/Wentz he can throw vertically and deep where Heinicke couldn’t… a definite upgrade imho

I have followed Carson’s Career since he got drafted and call it what you will I am a Commanders fan.
I love the commitment from coach Rivera, and the desire to make Carson feel wanted in DC. I think they are going to do great things.

Not much difference than all those previous years the carousel continues like the sports guys picking Dallas for the last 23 years to win the super bowl who can’t get pass the playoffs because the owners on an ego trip

Looks like common sense isn’t dead. Ron has more common sense than the entire Colts organization combined.
The fact that Ron highlighted Carson’s numbers being in the top 10 in multiple seasons shows that Ron “gets it.”
That’s the part that is going over a lot of this fan base heads. I wasn’t sold on him initially BUT numbers don’t lie. A top ten QB was needed. Those games where Taylor overthrew/underthrew or simply couldn’t get it down field if we had a Wentz might be a different outcome. We will eventually see how this plays out.
@Eric Reeves The only reason ppl weren’t sold on Wentz is because of what the media said about him. That’s it. He’s always produced. In 2020 he did what he had to do to get out of Philly and I don’t blame him. Wentz just put up a Brett Favre career average season and was basically the same as 8 of Peyton Manning’s 17 seasons. And ppl said he’s washed up. Sorry, but THAT’S washed up, then most of the Hall of Famers were washed up…

My enthusiasm has quite literally never been lower. If everyone comes to the opener with their helmets on the right way round, I’m satisfied with the season.
Wish Carson the best with us but I still believe in Taylor as my QB, I see something special in him just like I kept saying last year about Joe Burrow, those 2 will be the faces of the NFL in the future.
