I’ve been blown away by the effect a smart, effective head coach can have on an NFL team. Yes, they added talent in the offseason, but you still have to know how to best use that talent, and so far Mike has shown that he really can. The team is playing really hard for him. Blocking downfield on run plays by WRs, is great to see. You know they’re trying their hardest to win when guys are doing that. Hope the injuries stop though. Losing Ogbah is tough. He’s struggled, but he allowed Phillips and Chubb to rotate out and stay fresh, and losing him is another blow. Hope they can find a FA that’s out there, to come in. You really need depth on the DL in the NFL.

I love how he talks about his personal life. He show himself to be such a genuine and likable person. He’s the kind of guy you’d love to have in your circle of friends.
I remember the Saban debacle and the 1-15 crapwagon as a result way back when. I remember Sporano looking like an angry used car salesman and Ireland as the gm screwing us over year after year. I remember Philbin looking like an incontinent AARP cardholder. Gase was kind of a tool and I liked Flores but I actually appreciate this new HC. He looks a little strung out but I enjoy his candor and demeanor. Fins up baby!
