Shouldn’t have played baker mayfield especially when you go up. Against the best pass rush in the nfl. I get if it was vs Dallas or Cincinnati but you should expect to get hit and bruised up against ittsburgh
Hind sight is 20/20 there cap obvious. How can you know? It was said the exact same thing that they stated the same things about our past two opponents. We play Pitt twice a year every year. I believe that they know who what Pitt and Baltimore are. We will rebound from this. Despite who our next game is against.
Baker sure took a lot of big hits during the game. He’s honestly lucky (in a good way) that he didn’t fracture his ribs. They made the right decision taking him out in the 3rd quarter because why play him more when you’re down by so many points at that time.

The more you hear from Stefanski, the more you gotta love him as a coach and leader. Takes responsibility for defeats, gives credit to players for wins. Calm, steady. This is the coach that’ll take us far in the long run.

We finally found him.
He stinks as a coach. Are you kidding me? He couldn’t figure out what the steelers were going to do? Steelers were going to out physical the Browns O-Line, and they did. They should’ve been ready for that. The Browns need better run blocking and should’ve put emphasis on the run and keep the ball out of the hands of the steelers offense. One way the Browns can start winning is to not draft O linemen that aren’t pussies.

@Ironic Kismet Your comment sounds extremely dumb. This is Stefanski’s first year, so he had no control over drafting ANY of the offensive linemen the Browns have now. They tried to run the ball, and the Steelers shut it down because that’s been what the Browns have been best at all season. Baker just isn’t that good, and the offensive line is just as bad at pass protection as it is at run blocking. None of this is on him, and he took more responsibility than necessary imo.
For the love of god don’t put Mayfield in the shotgun unless it’s 3rd & long. Other then that, all love
Looks like that is the plan. 62% of snaps have been from under center: second highest rate in the league.
Most of his college career was out of the shotgun, so there should be some expectation that he can make plays from that formation.
Baker didn’t play his best today because he was wearing boxers instead of briefs.
