Head Coach David Culley and Players Meet with the Media After Texans vs. Seahawks – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Gregory Campbell

Tough loss today but I’m sure coach Culley will rally the troops and have the guys ready to play and win next game. Just got a few loose ends to tie up. Go Texans!

    Sarah McCoy

@steve boone I do not believe they have thrown games. I believe they are a legit 2-11 team.

    steve boone

@Sarah McCoy had Taylor not gotten injured in the game against Cleveland, Houston could have easily run the table and forced every team to earn their wins especially buffalo and Indianapolis but at this point Houston should just forget about ever winning any future games and focusing on trying to get Culley, Kelly, and Smith fired as well as trading Watson for several draft choices.

    Zeke Rocks

WE DO NOT WANT TO WIN.
WE WANT YOUNG GUYS TO PLAY AND SHOW POTENTIAL (THEY DID)
WE WANT THE HIGHEST DRSFT SPOTS AVAILABLE TO MAKE THIS REBUOLD FASTER.
WINNING DOES NOTHING GOOD FOR US!!!

    Sarah McCoy

@steve boone Steve, with all due respect, I disagree with you.
There is no evidence to support the premise that the Texans would have won a bunch of games had Tyrod Taylor stayed health. That would be pure speculation, at best.
I know there are many Texans fans who like Tyrod. I get that. He is a likable fellow. But, he has not stuck with a number of teams, who have replaced him with players they felt were better.

    steve boone

@Sarah McCoy every team he played on never really gave him a chance to be a long-term player and with the way every team has done him he might end up going the same route as other journeyman quarterbacks and never being allowed to fit right in.

Ethan Gill

David Culley seems like he really cares about the team, and that’s good. He took responsibility for the team not being able to fix things in the locker room. I hope he will be able to do so for the end of the year, and especially next year. Whether we’re 2-11 or 10-5 like in 2019, we are still Texans, and always will be 🤟

    steve boone

@Ave Maria I became a fan of the Houston oilers when they had Earl Campbell and a slew of receivers that made Dan Pasterinii look like a top notch quarterback but I wasn’t a fan of who coached them. The Houston Texans spent their first ten plus years as the NFL’s doormat and every time they have shown any brilliance they got shamed for it. I hope Cal McNair smartens up and gets the team going in the right direction otherwise the franchise will be forced to shut down because he’s refusing to listen to the fans.

    Ave Maria

@steve boone Yeah I realize everyone has made fun of the “culture” thing but I do see it as a necessity. I see alot of toxic fans but I think if the team won more often and if the older teams would let them in we’d have ourselves a franchise. Obviously incompetence higher up is to blame but we have to watch our step and not become another problem for the team. Also add columbia blue to the team colors 😬

    Ave Maria

@steve boone The Oilers are the only football team the city really loved and the only team that really captured the essence of the city. The Texans have to be more like the Oilers to get the support of the city

    Archon March

@Ave Maria they ain’t the Oilers. The dome was the House of Pain. The Reliant Center, or whatever it is, is the Palace of Shame. These cats don’t have grit, they don’t scare anyone…

    Ave Maria

@Archon March That’s why this whole conversation is based on the idea that there needs to be change…

Julien Lozano

Pathetic! No excuse to be this bad! I wish someone would pay me millions to be horrible at my job!

    Zeke Rocks

It’s a rebuild/tank year wth fo you casuals expect?? BOB ruined the franchise you think we were going to go 14-3 this year!? Lmfaoo yall wild. They aren’t trying to win, trying to get the best pick and add youth and talent but it’s a 2-3 year process at the least not a 8 month project. BOB and the Mcnairs made this mess we are in. Winning is the worst thing to do rn. Mills played well young rookies/2nd year guys played well and made plays. All you can ask for rn is more losses and more young guys looking promising

    Jeremiah Chavez

@Zeke Rocks My Guy, we shouldn’t be performing this bad. we all know where not a playoff team, but this is worse than a lot of us even expected.

    Zeke Rocks

@Jeremiah Chavez games should more like the Lions games but same result but it gives us a chance to look for a head coach this off-season. This past one wasn’t ideal we needed a culture guy a players coach. Just to hold through. Yes he hasn’t been competitive and that’s really all he was being asked to do. But bright side he will be gone this off-season and we get to find a coach we actually like and we look more promising with all the picks we will have.

    Jeremiah Chavez

@Zeke Rocks I agree on that

Sarah McCoy

Davis Mills did not throw a pass interception today.
No turnovers by the Texans today.
Two QB sacks.
Only 63 yards rushing.
Until the offensive line is rebuilt, the Texans will continue to struggle to run the ball.
Considering the play of the O Line today, it is amazing that Mills was able to pass for over 300 yards.
The rebuild begins with the 2022 NFL draft.

Black Matter Lives

Mad respect for Cooks sticking around with this team. There are plenty of teams that would love to have him. I hope Nick stays true and builds an offense around him

Roel Guerrero

Weak running game and not physical

lassie JR

So Culley keeps punting in opponents 40yrd line area instead of a FG try, 2 of them today , and then he kicks a FG on the 3rd line instead of going for it , he is limited by Mills and his play making ability .

    Zeke Rocks

Culley is limited by mills? You’re kidding right? Lmfaoo you’re a funny guy.

    lassie JR

@Zeke Rocks Well , Im trying to deflect Blame on Culley you know his feelings might get hurt >

carlos dimas

Culley doesn’t know what else to say on the podium …..

Angel Guerrero

Davis mills could be a starter next year we need to build around him like a better o line

    Sarah McCoy

The offensive line must be the top priority going into the 2022 draft. Only 63 yards rushing, because they cannot run block.
I am not convinced that Davis Mills is the QB of the future, but he could be the gap filler until that future QB is determined.

Jonas bluntson

One day, one day, one day this team will be good again, an that day we will go 3-14 🤣

Christian Ramirez
