@Hugh Jasole Goff isnt terrible I would give him like a C+. The main thing with Goff is he is very inconsistent. The only time Goff is good is when our running game is good. Like right now the browns are willing to trade Kareem hunt for a 4th round draft pick and I think the lions should do that. Swift and hunt in the backfield with St Brown and Jameson Williams at receiver and hockenson at tight end with our OLine…. Are u kidding me, we would have the best offense in football damn near. Then we could use all our draft picks this off season on our defense. Like corners, safety’s and linebackers. Bam playoff caliber team. It’s not rocket science they just won’t do it for whatever reason
If you could hear them upstairs but not talk to them, What did they say about call, spot? How about a time out to figure it out on the Diggs incompletion for you to get a good look, ever a consideration. Still in your corner.

I watched lions since 1950’s…i remember days of yale lary, night train lane, joe smidth, alex Karras, the rest. I don’t remember worrying about all this stuff in between the weeks games.Maybe, we dont have lives anymore like we used to. A lot of talk and speculation,… about nothing. I have no reason to be upset with anyone else being here or expressing opinions. Just talking to myself lol.
I’m with you Doug! Went to my first Lions game in 1958, I was eleven yrs old! Bought my 1st season tickets in 1962, I was 15 yrs old!!! Had season tickets for 27 seasons. Saw Chuck Hughes die on the field, playing against the Bears. Lions have had a lot of great players thru the years. I think coaching and front office has been the major downfall.
Ask him why our guys commit so many penalties and make so many mistakes and what he’s going to do to prevent that from happening in the future. Seems like there is no accountability among the players
Zac Taylor’s first 2 years in Cincinnati were terrible too. Nothing but faith in MCDC, Brad Holmes, this staff and this team. Only expected 6 wins this year, still time.
Another game that they could have won but didn’t. Golf in the huddle got to lead these guys and hold on to the freaking ball!( Mr. Golf included…)
people in detroit need to understand this was never a 2 or 3 year turn around, everyone throwing a fit over what sheila said but shes exactly right, it was a tear down and than full rebuild which has just begun. The roster especially on d is bare of talent, they know Goff isnt the guy for the future and i think they knew that no matter what. They will win a few more games this year and next year hopefully we got a top rookie qb that starts from day 1 and use a lot of picks on more d and depth. Why dont people ge that cambell and all his risks were due to him knowing they dont have the talent yet to truly compete. If u really want this team to succeed u better be patient and i think they will get there
Don’t win tank for Stroud or Bryce, lets get a franchise QB in here, if we do win than we better trade for a big time QB like Rogers or Jackson or somebody cause Goff isn’t the answer unless we have a top 5 defense.
