@Adam B34 I think he’s done pretty bad so far. But i feel like he can step it up. He had good decisions this last game, I definitely believe in Brad Holmes and if he fires Dan then I’ll support it. But I still will support my coach.
Dan just needs to slow down in game and evaluate each situation, use time outs, challenge plays etc..We’re not good enough to let this things and our bad play stack up against us. Time out after the Wright play (TD or not) needs to happen to not have things like a bumbled fumble like that. We need to be better
What??? It was first and goal at the 1 yard line. The RB fumbled the ball. How is that on Dan and the coaching staff?

just ask yourself, would a good team have challenged those plays. would a good team fumble on the 1.
@Hugh Jasole does Dan manage the game plan, call the timeouts, decide when to kick/punt/go for it, decide if it’s a run or pass situation????

Campbell’s a great guy. I love his spirit. Does that translate into him being a good coach? He’s made decisions and non decisions that have lost us games. I don’t think he’s proved that he is a decent, or even average coach. The Fords need to pick someone a bit established. They leaned on his spirit…his attitude. But, there’s other markers to consider. They need to be more thorough. He will be gone, this season or next. It sucks waiting for another new start…I wish I could quit the Lions, but I can’t.
Year 3 is when it counts, have to win next year

Why is it always Lions fans who have to wait, when there are teams like the seahawks who are 4-3, Jets, 5-2, Giants, 6-1.
These are my Lions, they always will be my Lions. I love this coach and think we will turn this around. It’s just a matter of time. There will come a time when other teams will say damn we got the Lions next week.

I hate to say it but i feel the same way. I say year 2042. That’s when one of my friends gets out of prison. I think the lions will be super bowl contenders that year.
Aside of the obvious not possible benching idea, the Lions should either get Garrett Griffin to come in at FB while Cabinda is still out or get a FB to the PS until Cabinda returns. Goff really needs 1 more blocker at this point. Defenses have gotten too scary on how they know Goff is easily susceptible to pressure. Idk how helpful would 1 more blocker be, but don’t forget how the Dolphins blitzed the hell out of the Ravens last year around this time.
So St. Brown didn’t have a concussion and couldn’t come back!? The NFL is getting more and more ridiculous, having him might of been the difference in that game.

Man hate giving excuses but look at Rogers with no receivers, since we lost Swift and St. Brown things are tuff, I want to see Swift, Brown and Jameson and see if the offense clicks. Let’s see vs Miami if we get whopped with our star players back then that’s a problem but if we can get back on track then I think the real problem with this team isn’t the coach it’s just lack of talent. One our LB’s are horrible omg Anzolne makes some plays but he messes up so bad so many times. Not a fan of Goff but who was he throwing to? Raymond, Brock, and I have no idea who else. Oh Hockenson. Man that’s not very encouraging.
As we seen in the first 4 games, a healthy Lions squad is dangerous so I just chalk it up to bad luck and injuries

This year feels just like last year, except for the fact that we are not waiting for a win.
Well, it is just like last year, we have the same cap space thanks to Fatricia. The biggest difference is the amount of hype everyone put on the team. I even fell into it thinking we could go .500 this year but I can admit I was wrong and we still need a couple more years.
I have been very critical of Okudah since drafting him and even I can say he looked like the guy people said he was yesterday. It was good to see.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but i think during last game we only had 1 20+ yard play.
