The Lions media and SOL fans have places the weight of the Lions entire history on this man shoulders. Yes I demand excellence, yes I think he needs to do better (especially on defense) – but year two and you have people already calling for his head.. smh. My demeanor would change too.
He has no excuse with the way the giants, jets, and falcons are playing. This team with a better coach would have a better record.

Last night’s game was physical we need to match that intensity to have a shot.
As good as Philadelphia is looking, I am pretty proud that we hung with them. The way we did in week one. I think Campbells aggressive decisions and injuries have been hurting us. Hopefully the aggressive decisions will get a little more practical moving forward.

Good defense + bad offense = 4-2 record for Dallas
Good offense + bad defense = 1-4 record for the lions.
Defense has to get fixed. The record will suck until it is.
People keep talking about Campbell needing to learn from his mistakes, hopefully Holmes does the same – no more gambling on injured players with high draft picks. Looking at this offseason – Chark (mostly ineffective), Elliott (benched) in FA, and turning 4 picks in the top 66 turned into 3 picks in the top 46 with two on IL who have not taken a snap for this team. They will likely have two pretty good 1st rounders next year – no more wasting picks, Brad!

Levi is a bust, bad draft pick. Need to go all defense in draft (unless they draft high enough to get a QB, if they like them) and then hammer free agency on defense. This OL isn’t going to last forever in terms of cost, so need to get this D fixed FAST.
I don’t know why that I feel bad for this guy. The game against Dallas is going to tell us what this team is really about.
The defense that I was so high on earlier has been a huge disappointment- let’s see if things are better. If not, a D change will be needed. Loyalty to the defensive coordinator can not cost you your job- so here’s to a brighter day come Sunday

Why is Dan Campbell not getting asked about all the ridiculous amount of 4th down attempts? Most of which have failed and put our young, banged-up, and subpar defense in terrible positions to lose us games.

Holmes better stop drafting injured college players, ESPECIALLY in the first couple rounds! That is absolutely killing this team. If he does it again next year, he should be canned. It’s one thing to sign them in free agency, but to draft them for a rebuilding team? Worst thing you can ever do.
