41% pressure rate. That’s high. No QB is going to feel comfortable under those conditions. Rush directed at Brown, Jackson, and Decker.
I remember watching the game on Sunday and yelling “TAKE THE POINTS DAN!!” when they could have kicked a 51 yard FG down 6-0
Badgley, our kicker for that game, only has a long of 45 that he barely made.

We have no kicker, unfortunately =( for the most part all those 4th down attempts were the right decision. But the play call on those 4th downs weren’t great. Maybe should have punted it on the 4th and 9 on the first possession but it’s pretty much a 50/50 call on punt vs go for it on that one.

He reminds me of a young school boy who knows he needs to buckle down and do his homework but decides not to.

I think this team is missing veteran leadership. There are no playmaking veterans on this defense to show the young guys how. Maybe the ex-player coaches can make up for some of that, but who is there as a veteran coaching presence to show our young HC, OC, DC how to game plan and make in game adjustments. We miss Dom Capers, need a defensive guru to help out AG, need an offensive one to help Ben too apparently.
I agree. It’s alot of 1st , 2nd and 3rd year people on this team. This team needs some veterans not only on the field but but in the coaching staff.
Ben Johnson is fine lol. He’s had exactly one poor performance but it also came vs Bill Belichick, who even makes guys like Sean McVay look like scrub play callers
Coach, how can you say you anticipated all the moves that they were making and yet have no points scored on the board and have them score on you? If you knew their game plan wouldn’t that mean you’d be able to be successful against them?
He just talks to talk. He rarely makes any sense
Listening to Dan Campbell’s excuses and deflections away from his own horrible decisions reveals the Lions do not have a quality coach because they’re getting worse and worse – and you can’t blame it on injuries when his own decisions have blown games. Most other teams with new coaches have been making improvements. I known I’m not the only one TIRED of this con game the Lions been playing on us and I’m not supporting it no more.
If you listen to Dan’s comments in press conferences… he always speaks to how “He Feels” you can’t coach based off your feelings… My guy Dan, what is your plan of action for various scenarios? what is the scheme? what were you thinking in the moment? NOT how you “FELT” in the moment! Dan you are playing with a checkers mindset in a game of chess playing coaches… Jumping around collecting a few pieces of successful moments doesn’t win games

The game could have been 6-3 if you just kick the field goal. Then 6-6 if you take the next. Punt on 4th down when you’re way out of field goal range. Start with that and see where a little patience takes you. Instead of being down 13-0. you’re tied 6-6 with momentum on your side and a chance to take the lead. Then take the 32 yard field goal instead of going for it on 4th down. You’ve just taken the lead. Just a thought….

How different the game was. This time the Lions scored zero.
You tend to have a lot of injuries when you draft guys who are already injured (and TRADE UP to get injured guys). I’m looking at you, Mr. Holmes.

Y’all are too antsy. Give it time. DC is a great coach and our team is literally the youngest in the NFL and before sunday happened we had the #1 scoring offense without key guys.
We suck on 3rd down….25% on the road…rank 22nd in the league on the season…the last 3 weeks 28th in the league on 3rd down….hard to win if you don’t convert some of those, it also take the 4th down gambles out of the conversation. Granted the defense isn’t helping getting beat every week with big running plays to the house….
Coaching decisions cost us a chance at competing. Poor gameplan and even poorer game management cost us a chance at even competing.
Giving a 3 string QB confidence via a short field is just stupid.
I still like what we are (young) and where Dan is taking us…. Good older vet in the secondary would be great
4 wins in 1.5 seasons. Dan is on the hot seat. He is trending towards a worst record than Matt Ruhle (11 wins in 2.5 seasons).
Ain’t no way in hell we beating Dallas. That pass rush is gonna destroy us. Not because of talent but because of a poor gameplan.
