Nobody wants to talk about the turf and how the home team had all week to monitor it to know what cleats to wear. Visiting teas don’t bring a bunch of diff cleats just in case. That field has never been that cold and they had the intel to know what would give them the edge in the gameplan.
@Chattin’WithBirdsong -(BirdsongBeats)- of course it’s more than 2 types of cleats they probably showed up with basic damn cleats when they knew the entire eastern part of the country all the way down to Alabama was getting snow. It may not be Dan’s fault for the equipment but the damn team still looked unprepared in every phase of the game.

Dan, you had an awesome season you exceeded my expectations. Try to keep Ben Johnson because he could be poached. Also, you have to improve next year.

Just put Craig Reynolds in he’s tougher than swift I like him but too small keep Williams for short yardage as normal
@Corey Patterson you are absolutely correct, Craig Reynolds runs harder. I don’t know why the Lions coaching staff doesn’t see that, it takes them too long to make adjustments.

I seriously believe they took the wrong cleats down to the game last Sunday and couldn’t maneuver on the Frozen turf for that Titans game they didn’t expect it to be frozen but they did complain about it was like playing on concrete and was very concerned about it

It did start with one guy: Aaron Glenn. I just read an analysis that said the Lions did not stack the box ONCE vs. the Panthers – no adjustments, just let them run you out of the game. Whatever happens this year, Glenn has got to be demoted or fired.
Bro that whole team stunk it up everybody always blames Glenn but nobody has anything to say when the offense shuts down plenty of games where the defense held on and the offense couldn’t put a drive together I don’t care if your the 85 bears you get tired!!
This team clearly got ahead of themselves after he talked Playoffs with them last week and he’s pissed about how they responded.
I like the attitude MCDC is holding onto about needing a reset.
This IS, a successful season. The next few weeks determine’s how successful. We know we have work to do on the defense, weather that be coach’s and players the D needs to improve the most. As always we can add to the offense and special teams. We now know how to win, we need to learn to not let that go to our heads. DC was all over the media last week before the loss and the players were getting smug and reading the headlines. Stay humble, work hard, and when you win take a lesson from Barry Sanders. “Act like you’ve been there before.”
