JZProductions on a 3rd and 3 with us down 17-13 well in the Seattle 20, we run the ball instead of passing when we had been so successful, and instead of going for it, we kicked the field goal. Field goals normally don’t win games. But yeah, that defensive touchdown late at the end of the half really killed us.

And we tanked last year. In year two of a rebuild from scratch. Have a load of rookie and 2nd year players and only one player over 30. Bugger me half the fans on social media are halfwits.
@Drazilek the problem is, Grier signed 11 free agents he’s also been part of the draft for quite a few years. His draft success rate is about 10%. That’s not good enough. They had plenty of draft capital this year to move up in the first round to grab a DL. They chose not to. Instead, They traded back and took igbinoghene, who is young sure, but shouldn’t be on the field right now. Grier was obsessed with all Auburn prospects. Its been reported pre draft in many articles. They could have drafted s receiver or an RB. With the late first Rd or 2nd Rd pick. They also drafted raekwon Smith in the 2nd Rd who has also been a bust so far. The scouting report on him was that he lacked effort and his stats had gone down every year in college. Pick players that are good. Don’t pick players that are reaches. Luckily Austin Jackson and kindly gave worked out so far. I’ll give him credit for that. Everything else is a failure for this year. Play Tua
@m black I get it, but I also have to look at it that he’s a relatively new coach, finding his feet. I don’t think you can tank a team and then expect to be a winning team the following season, even with 11 free agents. There’s been no pre-season, which for a newly formed team is going to be hard, especially going against ready teams. I’d also say we’ve gone against 3 teams with a winning record, two of them 4 -0, and it’s not like they were blow outs. Up until mid 4th we were 2 pts behind. Maybe I just don’t see the doom and gloom like others and see a solid unified team and is moving in the right direction. Looks a more unified group playing for each other than it has in a while.
@Drazilekthis team played better last year after week 7 with a bunch of nobody’s and cast offs. I legitimately feel that. They had 9 days to prepare for Seattle. At home. Not buying 5 field goals with Jamal Adams out. Or Christian Wilkins with 1 tackle. Ask yourself why we have 3 rb’s. We have 2 rb’s we signed and traded for that suck and our go to guy is the 7th Rd draft pick from last year. Someone doesn’t know what they’re doing

This team is so close to being a contender , just need more consistency on both side of the ball . Also I don’t think all the players are being used to their full potential…..

Idk about close but were def on the right track. Right now were still trying to fill holes etc so were putting guys outa position hoping they can hold their own. We will get it worked out. These first four were preseason games imo. Now this upcoming week. Gotta start seeing us finish

coach when we are home there should be no way we don’t challenge a call we clearly would have won don’t you have someone in the booth watching replays. It was easy to see that Fitz did not pass the line of scrimmage and that would have been a first down but instead we take the penalty

The ball was moved well, you gotta get in the endzone in the red zone. Kicker was on point with 5 FG’s, but ultimately the team needs Touchdowns. Game was still close, and there’s no shame in losing to the 4th best team in the league by that margin with a young, growing team. There’s no stopping the ‘Tua Time’ degenerates who have never stepped on a field in their life. But Fitz played a decent game, first interception was kinda of flukey. Guy leaves it all out there, rushing for a TD putting his body on the line every game. The ‘Fans’ crying about it being the quartbacks fault need to relax and realize who they just played and how they hung in there. The team is looking very admirable and competitive with the tops dogs, wins will come.
