I have over 50 Years as a Fan, I’ve seen many bad teams, many bad coaches, many coaches who left too early( fired, resigned, took other jobs) but Gase is one of the worst. This team fits his personality, unimaginative, boring, lethargic….. Lou Holtz was like this, Kotite was like this too. Ownership hanging on too long to coaches. Inability to evaluate talent, Underachieving with good teams when they had them, and ineffectiveness in instruction and understanding of the Quarterback position. Everybody who was head coach, EVERYBODY including Parcells.
Players are not without blame, Parcells, Edwards, Ryan Could at times motivate average players to play harder than expected, but the few great players we’ve had took advantage of this franchise, with the possible exception of (Namath, Martin, Toon). It’s old now, I’m tired of it. I want a super tough team, Gase is not capable of performing that task. Go away Gase.

Look at how the team is coached, how they get the most from their players, I’ve been a jet fan since 67 and it’s the worst I’ve seen this! This man has the worse body language I have seen in a person who purports to be a leader. His shoulders are drooped, his voice is soft, and he continually shakes his head no. How could any player be inspired by such a coach? How could any team owner allow such a coach to be hired? I have sat through too many 4-12 seasons with the Jets and remained a fan. But this Jets team is showing me there is a string possibility it can be only the 2nd team in NFL History to go 0-16. FIRE GASE for God’s sake.

He doesn’t make himself accountable . Practice after a loss should be like walking through hell till the team gets it right . A lot of screaming and yelling and drilling fundamentals . It’s clear these guys are not ready come Sunday . You can’t coach players with a piece of chalk .
