Commanders whooping azz 2 weeks

Hugh Gard

Scott turner called a few stupid plays..if slye could step it up we win..Heinicke had too many high passes and he got lucky as hell he didn’t get picked on two passes that got dropped by n.y. ..

    Hugh Gard

@Joseph no offense but my take is fairly detailed and your’s is a non-specific overview of any play..every play , if successfuly run, will yield yards. And yes fans don’t complain about wins..but Turner is a second rate oc..not first rate.

    Jon Harrell

I don’t see y’all getting paid for your play calling and coaching, this isn’t madden this is real in game situations.

    Michael Dorwart

They need to take that screen to the outsides, left or right, out of the playbook. Every time we attempt it, we lose yards. It seems every team tries that play at least once or twice, and it rarely works. The problem with us we try it 4 or 5 times a game. Also, NY blitz us between 2 to 3 times every possession and we blitzed once if I remember right. WHY NOT MORE BLITZES?

    Jon Harrell

@Michael Dorwart terry got 18 yards on that screen on a third and 20, and we shouldn’t have to blitz with the front we have, they are expected to destroy the o line and force the play to speed up and force turnovers

BTW just to be clear im not criticizing B-Rob. I love that guy and I love his desire and intensity and will to keep a play going. Reminds me of 2 people in our history. John Riggins and Stephen Davis. Big backs that other teams hate badly.

    Chase Bosonac

One thing to say let’s go commanders

    James Rinaldi

We should be scoring more points .

    James Rinaldi

    Go Washington

    James Rinaldi

Why don’t we throw 3 yard slants ever. Or hooks

Doug Minnix

The 3rd and 10 call was because our oline wasnt pass protecting well enough. Gibbs, Reid would have done same thing – maybe a screen instead of draw but same idea

    Ryan Esposito

not in OT. I disagree. You play to win the game.

    B Minus

Hienikie got hot and got them to overtime, they shoulda let him throw it…

Tom Tucker

please design some roll-out schemes to free TH from the direct rush of behemoth DL. Roll out with Samuel and Scary Terry as targets. In the red zone: run the Option. hand-off, pitch, throw or go. Four options in one play and make the D chase laterally and not a frontal assault. Just an idea. Taylor has the speed to go. 🏈

    Scott Lo

Agree. Totally different offense if Turner takes the handcuffs off Heini

    Colby LeFevre

    You are spot on

Jeff Lovin fishin

Take the empty backfield formation and throw it in the trash. We can’t pass protect unless a back/TE is chipping and we certainly can’t do it if there’s zero threat of a run.

KudaLZR

WE SHOULD BE A HIGH SCORING OFFENSE… too many playmakers and a top 10 WR to not average 28 a game

    41

Wentz led the league in passing touchdowns in the first two weeks. The only chance for an explosive offense is bringing Wentz back.

    D Els

@41 So true10 touchdown 6 interceptions under that horrible offensive line a backup center no healthy right guards or tackles and a defense still finding itself at that time.. Taylor is benefiting from better offensive line play Stronger Run game and a defense has upticked …all of those factors is not just Taylor. His arm is never going to make this team explosive because he can’t get the ball down field. Great story great guy but.

SuperSaiyanSeanTaylor21

Have to keep feeding Gibson, should be running 2 back sets a lot more. Get reads on defense motioning Gibson out wide. Dude was literally a WR most of his life, he’s probably got better hands than most WRs on this team.

LAMASSU

At this time all they need to do is use Heineke’s legs, I don’t understand why Ron doesn’t get it, prime examples Giants and Eagles, they are using their quarterback’s legs, he Even said in the halftime about Jones that is getting most of the yards running, but he doesn’t want Heineke to run sometimes, we would’ve made some first downs easily that way, it’s really the missing link. HTTR

    Randy in Chesapeake

Heinicke is smaller, and has a history of using his legs TOO MUCH (for his size) and getting injured as a result. That’s why he bulked up to avoid injuries, and is trying to win from the pocket. Unfortunately, our O-line DID NOT handle the Giants’ pass rush very well, and Taylor was under pressure the entire game.
When you can’t step into a throw because of Defensive pressure in your face, the ball tends to sail high. And our Fans blame the QB.
When our QB gets the ball knocked out of his hand while trying to throw, and the opposing Team recovers and eventually scores a TD giving them a 7-point lead … we should be tickled that we somehow managed to tie the game and send it into Overtime!

    LAMASSU

    @Randy in Chesapeake
Alex Smith got injured in the pocket and technically ended his career, Joe Theismann got injured in the pocket and ended his career, same thing with Fitzpatrick and Tony Romo, majority of injured quarterbacks happened in the pocket, so what’s your point?

Washington TakecommandHTTC

One missed field goal cost us too.

Robert Mitchell

He said nothing in this, this man can’t answer a question honestly about this team. I don’t think he’s even there. Surprised he didn’t tell us how great Carson could be, he doesn’t deserve it, he works hard everyday. He reviewed the tape, he made the call!!!!!!! Wish we invested some of the 28M into a oline. 😂🤣😅. We’re winning on the field, now hopefully we can win off.😅🤣😭. Hope next season GM Ron can nut up against Coach Ron, or vice versa, idk who makes the bad decisions.

Oscar Brown V

I love how coach is open minded ❤️💛

Ethan McDermott

This man goes “we are just a 20 point team” dude why would you elect to play the worse QB and settle for less? He says we are just running it now, so you cant run it with Wentz in?!?!? that is idiotic, if anything the run game with wentz would be better given that defenses would have to be scared of the passing game.

    Oscar Brown V

wentz is not mobile. Giants would’ve ate him alive

J C

Any reason why we didn’t have a returner for the FG runback

Captain Morgan

Gibsons a better RB than Robinson right now, he should’ve been on the field in OT. He gets the first down in OT after the run by Curtis to get us close to field goal range. It was first or second down after that play to Curtis when they ran the ball to Robinson to the left. It appeared if he just turns the jets on and goes he’s got 5 plus yards easy. Instead he tip toes and cuts it back in for a gain of 1 or 2 and out of Sly’s range.
Also looked like a read option would’ve been there for Taylor to keep in OT, would’ve got is range as well.

Jason Rose

Left hand up, let’s beat the New York Giants next time!

Faded2damnLong Drank

I’m not a fan of a Tie. They actually played for the tie. It’s mind boggling. The Commanders have everything they needed to win that game. They should’ve went for 2point with no hesitation and they go into the bye week 3 games over .500 on there high horse 🐎 waving the flag with nothing too lose going forward. Instead leaving question marks (??????)

Postit Randomly

5 sacks against the Giants is very disappointing. Have to get healthy and call better plays. The defense didn’t play as great as they’ve been playing but they played well enough to win 💯

Eric O'Neal

I would love to see more plays getting the WR to include Antonio Gibson involved. Too much talent out there to be just a run heavy team. I know a lot of you will disagree, but I love Taylor, but I feel Carson Wentz can really help us stretch the field.

    johnathan thompson

    factz 🤷🏾‍♂️💯

John Negrete

Every week I read the same comments that Heineke missed passes badly and the other team should have had a few picks. Washington goes nowhere with bad QBs. Heineke will continue to miss his receivers so only the D will determine how far this team goes. And gees, can Chase finally get on the field and make an impact. Chase is like Lonzo Ball of the NFL.
