Terrible excuses. I’m tired of hearing them. I believe still in Ron Rivera. I still think the players believe on him. As long as the players don’t give up. I think we should support this team the best we can as fans.
I will always be a Washington Redskins fan 4 life. I am still a Commander fan. I expect the best from this team and the last 4 games , I think all of us fans expect better as a whole in my opinion.

Ron failed us all when he started Carson Wentz over a guy who runs the offense much better.Ron needs to leave along with Scott Turner. Horrible play calling. These guys just don’t get it

Junk time reps like Carson had at SF can never be compared to real play if your coaches saw the prevent defense SF changed to after Carson came in.

RR felt comfortable hiring an OC with no experience and no rhyme or reason to his play calling. He felt comfortable drafting Jamin Davis in the 1st round and rolling with Holcomb, Mayo and other no name LBs for depth. He traded for a QB no one wanted and gave up compensation no one would have, completely ruining Free agency. He pulled TH in favor of trash Wentz when he was clearly our best option. Dude needs to go .

Chase Young’s sad face on the sidelines tells how he felt about Ron’s dumb decision going back to Wentz.
The fact that he didn’t know we could be eliminated yesterday says it all. That’s the sense of urgency this team plays with. Sad just freaking sad!

@Dennis Casely-Hayford It matters because it shows the lack of attention to detail as a coach. And it shows a lack of urgency to get into the playoffs. He should be so desperate to get in that he knows every conceivable possibility of getting in or getting eliminated. That lack of urgency clearly seeks into the team, it has for 3 years now. We were supposed to come out with a do or die, must win at all cost mentality and level of urgency.
@Jus2Trill07 Rivera knew all along that the team controlled its destiny and that, if they won the remaining two games, they are in. He actually said and acknowledged same during an interview with JP Finley. To this end, his goal was to win; period!! It wasn’t necessary for him to know all the possible nuances associated with elimination. His goal of winning the game and for that matter the final game (which again he knew and acknowledged) is a sign of urgency in itself. Essentially, the fact that the team did not win the game bears no association or correlation with he knowing that if Greenbay beat Minnesota, Washington is eliminated. Washington losing the game should, therefore, be evaluated on its own merits and demerits.
We could have been in the playoffs this year but Rivera choked. I like Rivera as a man but as a coach, he is an admin.

I watched the entire season and when Taylor came in I had so much hope after winning so many games, but of course coaching cost us this season these players this roster year finally have chemistry and it’s so disappointing to miss the playoffs.

He took Heinicke out for throwing two interceptions yet didn’t take Wentz for throwing three. It’s time this man moved on.

Commanders are predictable…that’s why interceptions happened. The Browns played great defense, that’s what the defense is suppose to do. Resolution: Change up the play calling and signals…PERIOD!!!! Plus, the Brown’s Watson is still a skilled QB!!!
Heinicke is better than Wentz but we would’ve lost with ether Quarterback Sunday.
Honestly what I want in the next coach is someone who is man enough to say yep I was wrong and we’re gonna keep fighting until we get it right. No accountability whatsoever and no urgency.
