No excuses, back to back horrendous games being a fan I’ve never witnessed two shut outs in the first half smh this coaching staff aren’t it.
Eric Bienimy or Byron Leftwich
We got lucky with the Jags game, they shot them selves in the foot lol should’ve been 0-3
@Kay RU 25 truth told. Washington have the most impotent staff and uninspired players
Me either and I was a die hard redskins
@Khary I’d take Byron
Every team game plan going forward, blitz Washington every down, they can’t protect. Lol
If he’s gonna answer like Belichick, I’d at least like him to win like him.
😂😂
I was thinking the exact same thing!
Its actually sickening 🤮🤮🤮
I’ve never seen a coach so non-chalont!
He has been winning the mannequin challenge on the side line since week ONE!!! AGHHHHHHHH!!!!!
I CANT WITH RIVERBOAT RON!
@T Bram He sounds like an old record player. Same stuff, different day🤷🏾♀️
I wanna see what our offensive coordinator has to say after to terrible coaching performances back to back
He will run and hide from the questions just like Ron does.
Scott Turner is by far the worse offensive coordinator in the league.
Why has Ron only mentioned execution, clearly the scheme has been ineffective. When you get sacked 9 times and get shut out two weeks in a row in the first half, the problem is not just execution. Why can’t he take accountability ?
Because stupid Carson is there to take all the blame. That way Rivera can keep his job. Real leaders hold themselves and everyone accountable. Real leaders tell it like it is no matter who gets offended.
“I’m not gonna sit here and call players out” after calling out only Jamin Davis a couple weeks ago.
😂🔥💯😂🔥💯😂🔥💯
JDR called him out, right?
Ron was curt with the reporters. A lot of his frustrations seem to stem from the way the players are playing on the field, and they may not be retaining the information. It also goes back to the fact that this is the team Ron put together.
U sound stupid Ron is a poor coach it’s year 3 and guys are still not comfortable with this system this is the reason the Panthers fired him after 10 seasons …players are scared to speakup out of fear of being cut like d.j swearinger….don’t be naive Ron has to go
@Anthony Bradford First of all, never start a comment with “ U sound stupid.” This whole thread is non-verbal. Secondly, I’m highly critical of Ron. I was making an observation from the interview. Thirdly, as much as some of us may want Ron gone after this season, it isn’t going to happen! What quality NFL coach is coming to Washington with Dan Snyder as the owner? Tell us Mr. Bradford. We all would like to know. 🔮
@Kurtillius Holmes we need a young offensive minded coach and Ron Hass to go
@Daniel Morgan I’m on board with that. I’ve said that many times on different platforms.
Yeah ok. Lets let him go. Whos better than him right now? 3 games in this year you want to jump ship? Thats not how it works in team sports.
I’m a diehard fan but I am embarrassed by the product on the field. The only finger to be pointed is at the head of the team. No excuses, take all the blame, make the corrections, hold the rest of your coaches accountable and develop a game plan and fix it! You know who is on your team. make your identity clear and run with it. Don’t play to someone else’s game plan. Let them adjust or keep up with your game plan.
We don’t wanna hear none of that BS. This was poor coaching and poor drafting and offseason acquisitions. The Commanthers/Alabama/Ohio Triad not working. We knew in the off-season linebacker was a need, O-Line was a need since y’all keep letting Flowers go don’t sign your best players long term(Brandon Scherff) man we tired of the BS. That’s 3 years of service and 3 games in we should be 0-3 luckily Jacksonville left a lot of plays out there. I’m a first time season ticket holder and the last time in the same breath. I’m just tired of this team man 33yrs of disappointment for me.
“We have to play better” is classically the sign for “we don’t know what the problem is” and generally means there’s a lack of identity and leadership. It’s gonna get worse before it gets better y’all. Btw Ron, what’s wrong with your 3 stud receivers being your identity and best offensive players? Quick routes, throws and catches all day. Let them slice up defenses all down the field. No team can stop all 3 most likely.
Wow.. This dude has no accountability.. thats a sign of a bad coach when they can take accountability and responsibility for their part
I appreciate what Rivera has done for the this team. But this is the 1st time I’m coming to the realization he is not the coach that will get this team over the top. His front office decision to re do our oline an dline has set us back 1-2 years.
The o line is trash fix it now ron
We’re not going anywhere near the top.
Ur late…
The O-line was trash last season. Taylor Heinicke’s play making made it look much better than it is in reality.
We have to talent. Unfortunately they are not being coached correctly. The league is a 70 to 80 % pass league. Additionally OL protection techniques are horrible. Defense needs to blitz and do stunts. Too conservative with the plays. For 3 years, we run the same type plays. Every team in the leagues knows it.
Do we do turnover drills on this team??
No they like watching ppl do stuff then they try to tackle
The couple things that have to be better that he’s talking about are the coaches and the Offensive and Defensive coordinating! This is why you hire a Super Bowl “winning coach” not a losing coach. Look at Shanahan, he gets some wins and has decent teams but absolutely loses all the biggest most important games. Rivera is a product of the just being around and being likable and getting paid huge so plays the role of coach . He looks like a coach and sounds like a coach but loses like a mediocre linebacker who was on an undefeated team once
Yeah the players clearly aren’t buying his bull anymore😭 you can tell in his voice
Have you found an identity yet?
Ron: No
Fans: aren’t you supposed to know who’s playing for you and the talents that they have and already incorporated them into your system by the time you reach the beginning of the season?
Gotta incorporate multiple 2 TE sets into your playbook. Use 2 TE’s as offensive weapons as well as for additional blocking. They can line up in the backfield, beside the tackle or on the same side. Unbalanced line sets, power sweeps, flairs, jet sweeps, maybe even wildcat sets. Practice and script multiple plays from these sets ahead of time to use as a contigency in case you have line protection issues because you can’t adjust to something you haven’t planned for. We have too many weapons not to be able to figure this out!!!
Excatly
Ron hired the front office people, the scouts directly or indirectly, the coaches, the trainers, the players, and the results have been subpar every year. This is all on him. So he needs to take responsibility for this mess and stop acting as if he’s being somehow mistreated by the media. Do your job and win.
I believe in Ron rivera but we have to make adjustments quicker in games👍
If they haven’t done it on the field, you haven’t addressed it Ron. Example… If a soldier can’t shoot at least up to marksmanship status, you need to stay on the range a little longer and show him proper sight alignment; breathing; trigger control etc. Then he needs to shoot to at least marksman consistently (muscle movement) before he goes anywhere. In Ron’s case, he’s been working with the same guys for 3 years. And after all this time, he’s admitting some of his guys aren’t getting it. So the question to Ron is “why do you continue to march the same guys on to the field?” Another question would be “is your approach to how you coach working? and are you willing to change for the sake of the team?” Based on this interview + this week and last week’s debacle, Ron’s answer is “no, I’m doing what I need to do. The guys just need to buy in and step up” That my friend is poor leadership.
