White might be the guy going forward to be honest. I know it was against the CHI defense, but he made plays that Zach definitely couldn’t make especially in those conditions. Keep him in there I say esp with the 2 tough games coming up.

Maybe but there’s probably over 30 guys better than Zach Wilson at this point. He’s been really bad. I’d have a competition next season and you still have to have a bit of hope that maybe he can turn it around with some time away.
@Mr. Dink The thing about Zach is that it’s not a talent issue. The dude is so scared out there at the pro level, that he’s always in a state of panic. He has way more arm talent than Mike White, but his mechanics go out the window with the slightest pressure. You can’t fix it. He doesnt have the guts to play in the NFL

Zach is just not a accurate qb. He was completing 55% in college which is the exact same in the nfl. This ain’t the 90s where it was way harder to pass. You need to be in the 60s in order to compete at a high level.
Mike is way more accurate but he’s a risk taker which you saw last year with his td to int%. I think if the coaches can keep a good game plan to help him minimize the turnovers he will be in good shape.

Well, if he has a locker meltdown, then we have a Ryan Leaf on our hands. Other than that, we have a young QB who NEVER should have started his rookie year.

Zach Wilson is a QB4, he should not be on a roster.
Zach should be selling insurance somewhere, not throwing footballs. I’d dig up Otto Grahams corpse and put it on the field as my QB1 before EVER letting Zach near my facility, let alone the football field again.

Don’t get me wrong, White is definitely a better QB than Wilson but I don’t think White is THAT good. Usually QBs who start after a long time on the bench play good bc there’s not enough recent film on them. Now that teams know what to prepare for we will see how good he really is.

Hes been my number 1 since last year… the tools i seen outweighs flaaco or zach but gm / coaches had to save face for drafting zach & some of our fanbase who clearly dont know x’s & o’s of football & think zach was the guy… nope

What a difference. If only the jets had made this change at halftime last week, we would’ve had a better chance of defeating the Patriots and controlling the future. Hopefully we can keep it going
As someone who isn’t a jets fan, I can tell you they’re way more entertaining offensively when Mike White plays.
It’s definitely over for Zach Wilson right now , and the coach even knows it , certainly Mike White SZN , and they need to make a run at that wild card spot , it’s for the best

No great athlete, and not a ridiculous deep ball thrower, but if you are open, he will deliver a perfect pass in stride
Zach was handed the QB1 job without earning it. You saw today what a competent QB can do with this offense
Same as the situation with Taylor Heinicke. Year after year man proves himself, and has to luck himself into starting position because the bums they pick up never produce.
The Jets have a history of drafting young QB’s and starting them when they are not ready. Going back to Sanchez and every rookie QB since. It finally took a coach, who has a great defense, to finally say, “Hey, we’re in the playoff hunt – screw this BS, I am putting in the best QB to win games.” White should have played against the Bengals this year too. After what he did last year to them, yet the Jets started Flacco. Makes you wonder, who calls the shots sometimes. A future top notch head coach, or the lying horrible owner??
