The very thing i was thinking watching them tell Peyton he’s been inducted(he knew of course). I remember colts games from way back in ’02, when I became a Peyton Manning. Hes still the best ever on my book.

@I can’t read after they banned the product his stats went way down so that’s why. But Hayes wasn’t the only one using it Jerry Rice admitted to using the product years after it was banned which caused a lot of people to question his true ability at the receiver

I think the 100 year class, and the reactions to Bakers suprise pregame/at halftime, made the NFL/HoF to rather make it like that even after Covid. Atleast I hope so the suprise aspect is quite cool aslong as it isn’t too obvious staged 😉

It’s about damn time Tom Flores get in! I’m not a Raiders fan, but he deserves this honour, it’s been a long time coming. Also, shoutout to the voters for giving Megatron what he deserves despite his relatively short career. Now just give Cliff Branch the place in Canton he rightfully deserves and we’ll be cool.
His time in Seattle must have pulled down his career winning percentage, which caused the delay. That may have also been why Jimmy Johnson was deferred for so long.

I’m also not a fan of the Raiders, but Jim Plunkett needs to be in the HOF too. If Joe “Overrated ” Namath is in there, Plunkett definitely deserves the honor.

he said himself in an interview he didnt expect to get in, and didnt really care if he did because he knew what he accomplished. I know a lot of people wanted him to get in, but no one really expected someone who played for such a short time to get in, at the very least, not as a first ballot. you look at guys like Fitzgerald, who is a easy first ballot, and he just pales in comparison, but his heart and his stats speak for themselves, like a certain running back who quit during his prime, but still accomplished so much.
@Grogu Djarin He had 7 1,000+ yard seasons. You can compare his 3 years stretch from 2011-2013 against any other receiver in NFL history. 302 catches, 5137 yards, and 33 tds. 11,000 receiving yards and 83 TDs despite retiring still in his prime.
@Grogu Djarin if you want to get upset about players without longevity making it to the Hall check out Billy Sims or Earl Campbell
