I’ve always been more of a “don’t use high draft picks on RB or WRs”, and even this summer, though it seemed like the best time to draft a WR considerating need & WR draft class, I was ready to accept the call Gute made and bein okay with it. But now, not only Lazard is out for Godknowshowlong, but I also happened to have a look today at Packers draft history under Rodgers and realized that the only 3 times Packers have used 2nd round pick – only 2nd! – on WR, well….it turned into Nelson, Cobb and Adams.. So let’s just say this last draft kind of startin to have a much more bitter taste in my mouth tonight…
Sorry Jason, they just don’t want to answer your question about the flow of play calling. It seems Aaron must have let a secret word out and the rest are disavowing it.
With Devin Funchess opting out and EQ St. Brown and (soon) Alan Lazard on IR and (maybe) Davante Adams out as well the Packers will be without 4 of the top 5 receivers. Show me any team that wouldn’t look a little thin at the position. Relax and enjoy the ride.
