It has to be an incredible feeling from going from the worst team in the NFL to a Super Bowl winning team and under the circumstances he had to endure. To not have given up on everything during the time he was a healthy scratch in the Vikings game last December and battling back is a great story in itself. On a side note, I wish that the great Tony Gonsalez had played with a QB such as a Brett Favre or John Elway and that he would have made at least more than one post season game!

Leonard fournette really does have a great attitude. He’s well-spoken and a very likable guy. In fact he would probably make an excellent coach or head coach some day if he wants to pursue that. I wonder how long his career will be? Running backs careers are not really that long. And his running Style causes him to take a lot of hits. He is explosive A Lot Like Walter Payton used to be in fact. Peyton used to say it’s important to explode into the tackler rather than let them explode into you. And Walter Payton was remarkably injury-free during his career. Anyway I think Lenny is really a cool guy and he’s part of this really Nifty Tampa Bay Buccaneer team. I do wonder what he will do when his playing days are over. He would also be very good on TV as a commentator. He is somebody that really ought to be seen and heard frequently because he has a great demeanor and outlook on life. He’s also very humble and wise in that regard. We are lucky to have him. I hope he stays with the Buccaneers as long as possible. And I hope he has the greatest success here. I like the way the Buccaneers used two running backs because it allows fournette a little time to recover and not have to take so much punishment as some backs do.
Can you imagine the amount of fun and laughter you would have being in the same high school class with Gronkowski???
